I don't think it's fair that these people can't see that Joel is really trying to help Nicole - I mean, seriously, how many celeb guys could have knocked her up, and just left her? Joel wants to do really good, and Nicole is being totally awesome about it - so she's had some bad publicity. How would you feel if people were calling you a crackhead and saying things about you losing your baby? They are completely making a new start !! Plus, everyone knows that Joel doesn't like Paris, and now Nicole's ditched her!
I'm a big GC fan, so i guess this makes me a bit biased though, but anyone can see that these two really want to make a difference to each other!

They absolutely can deny her a home in a community. I've heard of this before with celebrities and when I lived in Atlanta I heard a lot of stories about rappers being kicked out or denied a home in a gated community. You just have to prove that 1) other black people live there and its obviously not based on that and 2) this person's presence in the community would be a nuisance and create an unpleasant environment for everyone else.

You couldn't be more wrong. Even discrimination against age is in violation of the Fair Housing Act. I can give you several case references but you cannot be denied because of your age, race, religion. The Fair Housing Act ensure that, even with a Homeowner's Association, there is no discrimination based on these things. Nicole and her Talent-less pseudo-ghetto boyfriend are being denied because it puts their right to peaceful enjoyment in jeopardy.

OMG! People this is not against the law!!! Nor is it discriminaion against a person! These people fear for their safety and peace. There are apartment buildings in New York and other major city's that you have to apply to a board or directors who in turn can accept or deny you.
This is not illegal in any form or fashion this is what happens when people actually take the necessary steps to insure that the neighborhood they invest in and raise thier family's in is under thier control and they actually have a say!

Oh yea Paris and lots of other stars live in gated communities but yet the paps still get in. I do not blame these people for saying NO! Maybe all the stars need to just buy lots of land and start their on community!
