I love hannah montana those people that dont like her consider that you think again . Those bad picture that you have seenprobably took those pictures to make hannah look bad. i love her so much that i just can not beleive that she would do those things. i cant beileve that you peple dont like her i mean im not trying to say your wrong im just saying that i dont care what other people say about her i like her so much. those people that admire her i think you have mad a good desision about wheather to like her or not. As the parent of a child who wanted to see Hannah Montana badly-I never in a million years would have thought of doing something so devious. I helped my 9 year old write an essay too, about how she REALLY helps pick out toys for the underprivileged through taking the names of children off the trees at church at Christmas. I never would have lied about something-i think the whole point of writing the essay as i read it was something YOU DO TO HELP ANOTHER-this dirt bag didn't say how she helped someone at all-and if it were true-it still missed the point of the essay as a whole-it was about helping others-not poor me-THERE'S unfortunately thousands of children now parentless from the war and 9/11 - which is horrible in it's self-and if that's the case then Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana should do a separate concert just for children who lost their parents due to unforseen circumstances-will that happen-no probably not-if this woman would stoop low enough to do something like that who knows what else she is capable of she sounds like the Texas Cheerleading Mom from years ago-psycho-you don't deserve to live it down-and you taught your daughter wrong-you sent her the message that it's okay to lie, cheat and who knows what else. Cat's are better mothers.

As a Soldier serving in Iraq, I am appalled that this woman wrote that essay. Too many children have actually had their father or mother die in this war, and yet she is going to "pretend" that her little girl's father died so that she can win TICKETS to a CONCERT? How ironic would it be if the little girl's father were to all of a sudden die?

Geez, who cares what words are in the dictionary? Everyone knows what a**hole means. I just think that it's silly to defend what this woman did because the rules didn't specify that the story had to be true. You have a good point though, because nowadays I suppose that it IS necessary, and I'm sure that many of the essays that were written were made up....

No where in the rules indicated that the story had to be true. I think this is terrible, and this child and family will never live it down.
It just happened to be false, but it was obviously good enough to win, but it was a STORY as the contest indicated to write.

I don't think this family did the right thing at all, but I really think people should leave them alone. If the rules said it had to be a true life story, then I can see where the bashing could come from. This story is probably very real for many families, just not theirs.

I mean c'mon maybe if her stupid tickets didn't start at $1,000 each, people would not have to write a false story to try & win some tickets for their child. I mean Miley Cirus is supposed to be performing for the kids, yet ticket prices are ridiculous, if I had children who were into that I'd have to lie my a** off to win some tickets too. If she had any decency or appreciation for her "fans" she'd give that girl & her family tickets anyway. So therefore any of you actually bashing this family, are all ignorant!

first of all this is not the little girls fault. She should not have to go through this crap because of a mistake her mom made. And yeah thats right i said mistake.She is a human. Last time i checked everyone is and as annah would say "Nobody's Perfect" No i am not saying she did the right thing but people do make mistakes. We are parents. Here to teach our children yes and no, right and wrong. I don't have an ounce of sympathy for this woman's despicable and conniving way to try to manipulate the ticket lottery by using the pain of others. To do this shows no parenting skils. just to go for what you want no matter who it hurts and if it's wrong, oh well. What is wrong with everyone? What this mother did was LOW CLASS and UGLY. Her dishonesty, lack of respect for our troops and their families during war time, and the horrible lessons she was exemplifying to her daughter put her under the category of BAD PARENT, BAD PERSON. Nothing else is true!

She should have told the truth in the first place, now her poor daughter has to suffer.
