There is no negative effect from mixing alcohol with antibiotics. It's an old wives tale like going outside with wet hair will make you sick.

I hate to stick up for her and let me point out is is going to need to be a high powered anitbiotic and more than a drink of alcohol... but there are some atibiotics that will make u vomit like nothing else if u are drinking while on them. I was given one one time and didn't believe the warning I was quite a sick person there for a minute.

I have an education sorry!! You are the one who knows nothing about this!! Make search on your computer, and you'll find out!! IT doesn't make you sick, it makes your antibiotics ineffective... Not sick or nausea, or anything like that. I stand by what I said, my hubby is a pharmacist!

It seems like a publicist spin. You can check out perez hilton and also comments on tmz. People have indicated she was using coke and mushrooms which made her paranoid.
As someone else mentioned - antibiotics and alcohol dont send you to ER.

i think they do drugs so much bc there's prob a great deal of peer pressure...esp in hollywood, it seems that most of these pple only get their jobs based on their social connections (rather than talent etc) & it becomes even more necessary to fit in with their resp crowd..plus, yeah, they seem bored, plus they have no control over their own happiness despite all the money/ opportunity..plus, they r unable to infuse their lives with meaning prob bc they're all...well umm.. stupid, not that creative..

The mix of alcohol and antibiotics is armless..the problem is that the alchol will make your antibiotics ineffective...so watever reason you took the medicin for, it will not be cure...But you will not be doozey..or anything like that...

so many people mix perscribtion drugs with alcohol and dont go to ER. They also say you shouldnt drive on 80% of bottles too but you cant not drive. I know my dad takes about 15 different pills for his heart. And they all say that crap. When I saw this topic i was sorta sad because unlike Lindsey Lohan, Mischa is very pretty and doesnt seem to be a media bleep.
