all i can say as a mother is to stay in school, get involved in school activities and not to worry about boy friends so young. Believe me life is so short and having a baby at any age is alot of work. I had my first at 19 and back then that was about the norm for us. We all thought that getting married and having babies was the way to go. Now I realize that having an education and a good job is central to having a happy life. Babies are time consuming and expensive. They do not love you as much as they need you and they need alot of attention and when your young you want to experiance life so you have something to teach your child. Always working scraping by pay check to pay check is stressful and having a child on top of it is going to create some very unhappy times. Jamie lynn is a lucky girlin one way because she has some money but now that she also has a child her work will be limited. None of these young girls dezerve to be called the filthy names that i have read on this site. I say shame on all of you who thinks it is ok to trash talk.Perhaps your un happy in your own lives and calling someone else a dirty name makes you feel better about your self. I say go out and get involved in life because it is over in a flash. Miley is a good girl, but she has to live and work around adults all the time so she has had to grow up fast. That doesnt mean she is going to have a baby anytime soon. And if she does, it doesnt make her a bad girl. dont believe every thing you read in magazines. they make stories up to sell them.. now go out and have some fun. because when your older you will not have so much time to do that.

I don't really know if Miley's pregnant or not but I do think she exposes herself to much to the media.Actors like Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens are much older than her but still don't expose themselves so much to the media as she does.I am a really big FAN of hers but I would still say she should be ashamed of herself to get involved in a pregnancy matter even before she becomes a major(18 or 18+).She should not have kissed Nick Jhonson on live TV in the first place.Earlier for me she used to be an idol but she is now like"what a person I should not be like".And Miley if u r reading this just think about it.IDOL OR DISCOURAGEMENT

miley cyrus is a bleep just like jamie lynn although it is true that she could be a mother still she is only 16. she could of also made it big like her big sister did before she married kfed. now since miley is cool with jamie she is going to be the next pregnant teen. I say so what.. She made a mistake. I got pregnant at 16 that does not make her a bad person.The difference between Jamie and myself is i struggled to give my son everything that he needed or wanted. That included working three jobs, living in a trashy apartment and sometimes had to choose between food for myself or diapers. Now 14 years later i do not regret anything i did. I have a wonderful son who is an honor student and is already taking college courses and i married a wonderful man who treated my son as his own. Jamie has money and will never have to struggle or know what it really feels like to be a teen mom. Her baby will be born with a silver spoon in its mouth. What i hope is that she does not glamorize it i hope she makes it a point to let young girls know that it is not all peaches and cream. I also pray that she is a good mother and does not get caught up in her family crap.

Honestly, I don't see why you guys have a problem with Jamie Lynn's decisions and the way she feels about her pregnancy. No I dont agree that at 16 you should become pregnant but I also don't agree with the way you are talking about Miley Cyrus and Jamie Lynn. Honestly they are teenage girls they have the right to stick up for each other. You dont know them so don't criticize them. As for Miley getting pregnant that is just down right dumb. As long as she is hanging around the JOnas Brothers nothing will happen.

16 is too young to take birth control pills. I know two women who used the pill when they were teens and got cancer by the time they were 30. Birth control pills are un-natural and un-safe. All the celbs that use the pill, get abortions, etc. are role models, because they bleep-around, sleep with every guy in town, but don't have kids but a girl who has one boyfriend and isn't using birth control is the devil because she is trying to do the right thing and keep her child. It seem people's morals are a little upsidedown.

I'd just like to know when the words "Role Model" and "Celebrity" became synonyms for one another. Just because someone is on TV, is in the movies, or makes really cathchy songs does not mean that they live al ife that anyone should want to live as well. When did parents start letting their children look up to Britney Spears, Jamie Lynn Spears or Miley Cryus, instead of people like Hilary Clinton who is trying to be the first woman president, or Condoliza Rice, or Sally Rice who was the first woman in space, or the female CEO's of this country.

I too am proud that Jamie Lynn is taking responsibility of what has happened and is doing the right and mature thing about it. 16 year olds get pregnant all the time, and make the same silly mistakes that Jamie Lynn has made, just beause she is on T.V. doesn't mean that she is smarter, or will not get into the same situations that other 16 year olds have been in before. Many girls get pregnant at 16, have the baby and have a full and fulfilling life.

Saying you're proud of the way someone is handeling something is not the same as saying that you are proud of what they did, or the situation they are in. I am proud that Jamie is keeping the baby, doing the right thing by getting out of hollywood, staying under the radar while it all is happening, and is taking classes to continue her education, and most importantly am proud that she did not take the easy way out by getting an abortion of some sort and is actually taking responsibility for her actions.

Normally I'd feel sorry for her having made such a mistake. But since she is already in the spotlight she needs to learn to take the good media with the bad. She doesn't deserve to keep working on tv while being pregnant or having children at the age 16. She's supposed to be a role model.
