FACEBOOKI think Heath deserves all the publicity he's gotten for all the great acting he's done in such a short time. Soon it will all past by in time and his work will all be just a memory. He was pretty low profile compared to many actors and just living it up. Gotta say I think his voice was extraordinary-it will, and he will, be greatly missed by HIS fans.

Michelle Williams attended a private ceremony Saturday in Los Angeles to honor her ex Heath Ledger, a source tells Usmagazine.com.
The ceremony was held at the Sony Studios.
In addition to his family, Josh Hartnett and Ledger's other ex, Naomi Watts, as well as other industry figures and people connected to CAA (the agency that represented Ledger), attended.
Musician Ben Harper performed. (Ledger had directed Harper's video, "Morning Yearning.")
Australian paper Perth Now is reporting that Ledger's grieving family, including father Kim, mother Sally and elder sister Kate, left L.A. for Australia on Sunday night.
Funeral arrangements remain unknown.
On Friday, Williams released a statement on Ledger's passing. She said, "My heart is broken."

They met on a movie set, they got together, he got her pregnant, they tried to make it work, it didn't, then he died, and many people are shocked and sad about it. Nothing more nothing less.
I think it's interesting that Michelle's statement about Heath -- while very touching -- only focused on her daughter. She could've said 'he was the love of my life, my best friend, an extraordinary man' etc. but she didn't. His family's statements also only focused on Matilda. This did not seem to be a Fairy Tale Love Story. You are the ones who need to grow up.

You've obviously never been truly in love or you'd already know the answer. Just because you love someone doesn't mean you can be with them forever. Relationships can be extremely difficult and sometimes for your own well being you have to take a step away. When you grow up you'll understand that.

I do think that the love they shared was beautiful. Just because two people break-up doesn't mean that they don't still love each other. Once you love someone, and I firmly believe this, the love never really dies. It just turns into something else. Heath loved this woman a great deal and his emotional instability is what led to the downfall of their relationship. Sometime guys have a freak out when their children are between birth and two and I think they could have eventually worked it out. It is quite sad for a mother to have to tell her two year old daugther that daddy is in heaven or dead for that matter. Two year olds don't have the comprehension that daddy is NEVER coming back.

Heath Ledger deserves every bit of the world's intense grief which it is currently expressing. The loss of Heath Ledger is enormous.

I was and still am a fan of Heath's work but I agree that the media has taken this too far. Let his family grieve in peace. I "care about" Heath as much as any other fan (ie. random person who saw his films) but to act like he was the greatest person that ever walked the face of the Earth is a bit much and that's what everyone is acting like. I'm sure lots of other good, young, decent people with families died the same day as Heath (ex. soldiers in Iraq) so put all this into perspective and stop harping on the tragedy of it all. Boy misery sure loves company.

i agree with 5:06, it is time to move on unless you personally knew the man or his family. it's not normal to be so distraught about someone you didn't even know. it's sad but these things happen. count your blessings and let it go.

My heart still pains over this story too. I'm glad they were able to have a nice quiet tribute away from the media. It sickens me what the media has done to his name for the quest of "a good story". Michelle....you in my prayers girl. Be strong and always remember.
