FACEBOOKI think Marie is doing a wonderful job on Dancing with the Stars. Fainting in public is something I have done on occassion due to stress and health factors. So don't judge Marie to harshly since you don't know how many other things she is doing besides Dancing with the Stars.

The Dancing With the Stars crew are rallying behind Marie Osmond after she took a scary spill Monday night.
Her partner Jonathan Roberts told Usmagazine.com last night at the show’s L.A. studios he initially though Osmond, 48, was “playing around,” but halfway through their routine, he knew something was up.
“Her steps starting going a little wrong, and I could tell she was breathing really heavy,” he told Us.
Roberts said he caught most of her fall, but “she still hit the ground and was out cold. She was not moving. It seemed [she was down] forever.”
Amazingly — after the show cut to a commercial break and Osmond’s family and a crew of medics raced to her side — she got up after about three minutes, claiming she got “winded.”
“She twitched a little bit, and I saw her eyes open,” Roberts said. “Then she looked around and went, ‘Oh, crap!’ because she realized it was on live TV.”
Adds contestant Mark Cuban, “She cracked a joke, just like Marie would. I think she’s going to be fine.”
Her brother Donny tells Entertainment Tonight his sister has fainted and collapsed in the past while performing.
“Marie is pushing herself real hard,” he told the show, adding, “she's in perfect health."
He said he doesn’t think she will quit the show — and contestant Jennie Garth told Us she is not surprised.
“She handled it so great,” Garth said. “She kept saying, ‘Sorry!’ But I'm like, ‘There's nothing you could've done to avoid that.’ She's a pro.”

Tom Bergeron was on "Good Morning America" this morning talking about it. He said the judges actually punch their scores into an electronic keypad on their desk BEFORE the stars come over to hear the comments ... so there's no way the fainting would have gotten her any "sympathy" points, even if the judges had been so inclined. By the time she fainted, they'd already scored her.

I happened to be watching when Marie passed out. It was a scary moment just because you weren't really sure what caused it. But everyone could tell she was really hyperventilating at that point as she was waiting for the judges to respond. Hyperventilating will cause you to pass out. She over-exerted herself. Who knows what her schedule was like before she started dancing last night. I'm really bothered that so many here think it's okay to speak about others in such a hateful,disrespectful,arrogant way. Being anonymous doesn't give you the right to talk about or to anyone the way you have here. No matter what you think or believe show some class.

Athough I'm not a fan of Marie (she is too much of a ham and a showoff for me), I do not think she faked fainting (it didn't earn her any sympathy votes with the judges, she only got a 21). Hoping all is well with her healthwise.

Class, please go look-up the term 'ageism'. It's synonymous with other types of discrimination. In other words - IT'S NOT OK to trivialize people because they are older than you and your parents. At 48 years old, Osmond is roughly ten years younger than Jane Seymour, who consistent gives some of the best and most beautiful dance performances on DWTS this season. Did it ever cross your mind that one of the points of the show is to disspell ageism and the damage it does by intentionally inviting entertainers who are healthy, vital, and great role models [and just happen to be 48-58 and older]?
Does it make you feel good or funny to devalue people because of their age? Let's just see how relevant you are at 48. Not so much, I'd guess.
