Newly declared Dad Larry Birkhead and daughter Dannielynn have arrived in Louisville, Kentucky for the baby's first family reunion.
While helicopters circled the airport and reporters clamored to get their first sight of Birkhead and baby on American soil, Dannielynn was blissfully unaware of the sensation her presence created. Access Hollywood reports from the plane: “She ate, slept, played and ate again...She barely even fussed.”
Birkhead, 34, was equally at peace after having been separated from his almost eight-month-old daughter since her birth. He reportedly "had a great time laughing and playing with his baby girl" on the flight back home.
As happy as the scene was, legal issues may still loom for the little family. Though Anna Nicole Smith’s mother, Virgie Arthur, could not legally block Birkhead and Dannielynn’s departure from the Bahamas, a U.S. Custody battle is assured.
With court costs adding up, it’s a good thing Birkhead signed that million dollar deal with NBC Universal.
Still, today is all about moving forward for the father/daughter duo, who said bye to the Bahamas, and hopefully hello to some normalcy.

If you get to read this i would like you to know that my heart and prayers are with you and that baby i had a feeling from the start you were the dad and got into heated arguments with friends about you and mr. stern. as i told them the goodness prevailed may god bless you and your baby and i hope to see future story's about the two of you of course i understand the spotlight is really not for you and that baby is lucky to have such a loving wonderful father. Good luck to Dannielynn and Larry, and as for Howard K. Stern all his scheming and plotting backfired. Larry got his daughter back and both he and Dannielynn are in the United States.

This is great!!! I am happy for both Dannielyn and Larry. Having said that I hope that once he is back, he would try to live a normal life with his daughter. Even if he had a deal with NBC after that he should just try to avoid the media to give his daughter some privacy. I also think that Vergie should just be awarded visitation or NOTHING, since her own daughter (Anna Nicole) did not even want her to be near the baby.
