You can be sexy without being slutty. You can be classy about things. If she was trying to be more like 1940s classy pin up, it would work better for her. People have the right to do as they please, and maybe it just pleases her for guys to look at her as a f*** stick. Maybe she wants every guy to look at her and be like, "That's definately F*** material!" We don't know. If that's the kind of person she wants to be, let her. To each his own. But you can't have respect and be slutty at the same time.

Katharine McPhee has entered the pose-on-a-men’s-magazine phase of her career.
One part sex kitten, one part girl next door, McPhee, 23, sits down (on a stool! wearing very little!) with the August issue of Stuff magazine to dish about dating older men and her sexy album cover.
In the interview, Katharine reveals that she was that girl freshman year who had enormous breasts while your bra was really more for decoration.
At first she gets all flirty with a winking soundbite hinting that she’s not quite as innocent as her wholesome image would have us believe.
But then she brings us back down to earth by revealing that she’s always wanted to be pregnant and have 15 babies.

The interview highlights, per usual, are below…
On being McNaughty and McNice:
“There are different sides of me. On American Idol, people saw the side that is very professional and put together. But there’s this other side of me that’s outgoing, energetic, and wild—and did really stupid things in college.”
On dating older men (her boyfriend, Broadway actor Nick Cokas, is 42):
“When I turned 21, I thought it was a good age to explore. You’re no longer a teenager, so it’s OK [to date older guys]. I gravitated toward them, and I love them. They’re just wiser, and they’re less about themselves and more about you.”
On her new album cover:
“People made a big deal out of that. They said, ‘She’s a slut, blah, blah, blah.’ But I’m really not showing that much skin. It’s all suggested.”
On what younger men need to know about women:
“Women sometimes act out, and men get frustrated. They don’t get that all we want is, for a few seconds, for you to be all about the girl—to snuggle her and give her kisses and tell her ‘Your lips are so pretty today. I love your lips.’”
On being popular with the fellas:
“I was prematurely developed. As a freshman I looked like a junior; I had boobs. Some of the older kids saw me in the yearbook and said I was cute.”
On settling down:
“Oh yeah. I want to have, like, 15 babies. I’ve always wanted to be pregnant. One year for Halloween, I decided to be pregnant, so I got this nun costume, and I put a big belly under it. I showed my parents and said I want to go to school as a pregnant nun. My dad sat me down and said, “Katharine, you can’t!”

I think its sad that these people in the spotlight are being judged so harshly. They have to live their lives the way they want to. If its in good taste why not? People can't be expected to fit into someone elses box. Besides you can't please everyone, so there is no use in trying. Just live your life!

Kathy was once my idol but now it's so obvious that she has started going wild, she has to be focused and know what is best for her, she is also beautiful with her clothes on.I think she was slutty while contesting for American Idol, am not suprised that her true nature is coming out now, but it's a disgrace to her after making people like her naturally and now she is sending the wrong signals.

I'm 21 and my fiance is 35 --- age really is only a number... He doesn't look, nor act his age and I couldn't be happier... I have dated people my age and even some people in their early 30s and it just never worked out... She is true when they say it is less about them and more about you and FUTURE... When they are older they want things like a FAMILY and things of that sort - not just getting laid.

Who cares who she marries I think most of you are just upset because now she is off the market. Come on she makes a great point older men are wiser think about it when a man is 30 he still acts like he is 21 so if a man is 42 maybe he acts like he is 27 or something. Besides if she loves him and he loves her isnt that all that should matter honestly thats all that matters in life who loves who and who wants to be with who. Grow up.
And as for her photo in an simi adult magizine good for her think about it. It does great for records to be honest.
Anne Hathaway showed the world her breasts in Broke back mountain and think she was a great role model for younger kids in all the princess movies. It doesnt make her a bad person at all. They are growing up its life we all grow up think about it. When you were 5 you were busy with all your kids stuff and now your older do you still do the same things you did when you were 5 as you do now. I sure hope not. We all grow up we all get married and we all have kids. Congrats to you Kat honestly I hope you are happy and I hpe you get as many kids and you want to have in the future.

I think it is great if she found someone she really loves. There is no age in love. My husband is 21 years older than me. Theres nothing gross about having an older man, if a man had and older woman it would be fine. She is very beautiful and i hope she has the best she can get. Given the trash that's crossed the Idol stage she's a really talented singer. I'm a musician (yes, you own at least one of my CD's) and I was really surprised when I heard her do "Somewhere over the Rainbow".

I think she is amazingly beautiful and quite talented. I was shocked to find that she had been dropped by her label. THEY ARE IDIOTS ! As for the magazine cover. YOU GO GIRL ! I think she looks HOT. i was a fan of her on her being an american idol top and i wanted her to win. she has nice voice and she is pretty. but i'm starting to loose interest in her when she started to look slutty, wearing less and less clothes? is she so desperate to get attention? she's trying hard to look like a sex kitten, which doesn't suit her coz she look like the girl next door. i'll like her more if she just concentrate on being a singer not becoming the next antonella bar----posing nude. i think her father would cry this time thinking "what's wrong with my daughter" rather than crying (remember?, her dad cries everytime she's on the stage) being a proud dad watching her make it to the top of the idol contest. look at kelly & carrie, they are huge and don't need to sell their body like mcphee to get to the top. katherine, just sing girl, u are pretty and u have good voice. why not concetrate on you to become a great singer rather than a great "nude slutt, fake boob" idol.

What I find disconcerting (and I am not a twinkie eating cow-thanking Kat's fans for those remarks) is that Kat, who has admitted to having an eating disorder at one time, is now using her body to promote herself. Am I the only person who sees something wrong with this? I do think most of her fans are tweenies and she is not sending the right message.

I'm definitely not a Kat hater. While I'm not into female pop singers, I wish her well. I do, however, have a problem with fans of any artist that continually post ridiculous statistics in order to promote their favorite. It causes the artist to lose credibilty.

Ok, 100,000 people did NOT come to see HER show. Paul McCartney couldn't draw 100,000 people. If Kat was lucky enough to be INCLUDED in a concert which drew a large audience, great. Respectfully, Kat would have a problem filling a 500 seat venue. That is not a diss, it's reality.
