They were engaged after just one month of dating, and just three months later, actress Kate Walsh and her film exec fiancee are married.
The wedding took place on Saturday, September 1, at the Ojai Presbyterian Church in Ojai, CA. A reception followed at the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa.
Walsh's Grey's Anatomy co-stars, including Katherine Heigl and fiance Josh Kelley, T.R. Knight, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens Jr., Justin Chambers and his wife Keisha as well as the show's creator, Shonda Rhimes, were all in attendance.
Walsh, 39, will play her Grey's character Addison Shepherd on a spin-off series set to debut on ABC on September 26, Private Practice. Just last week, the busy TV star told Entertainment Tonight that between her career and her love life, "I'm living a very good dream."
Husband Alex Young, 35, is a production executive at Fox. His proposal to Walsh in May was discovered by Us reporters who spotted her wearing a Neil Lane engagement ring at a television event. At the time she told Us, "I'm on cloud nine!"

i was camping right down the street where she got married. i heard them get married and i also saw some people get out of the limos. i also saw the bridesmaid. it was a preety cool wedding i guess, lol, cause from our campsite we could here theyre music!

The sister of my schoolmate married his fiance 4 months after their first date and they divorced in 4 months. She spent a lot of money for a mistake. Walsh will divorce in 4 months but she has a lot of money.

Okay- - -I married my husband 2 months after our first date. Huge church wedding, big reception with all of our friends. That was 11 years ago. We have 3 amazing children together. Love and happiness are not dictated by time alone. As long as a couple bring an understanding of commitment (that long forgotten quality in our society), a marriage has an opportunity to grow and actually thrive!

i give it less than a year. of course after one month of dating you are the happiest because little quarks aren't even there yet. they celebrate their 1 year anniversay of just knowing each other in 6 months! how desperate. she IS 39 so she probably saw this as her last shot.

do not jump to conclusions! my boyfriend's grandparents knew each other for 6 wks before they got married and they were married for over 50 yrs before she died. i know that was a different era, but i still believe people can know what they want very quickly. i wish the best for them!

You are all way too quick to judge ... my husband and I met and were married in less than four months -- and we will celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary next Valentine's Day. When you marry a bit later in life you tend to know what you're doing. I wish them God's blessings and a long, happy marriage.
