A spokesperson for Kate Moss issued a statement on Tuesday denying reports that she wed her troubled beau, rocker Pete Doherty, over the weekend.
On Monday, Britain's Sun and the Daily Mirror reported that the 32-year-old supermodel and Babyshambles frontman, 27, tied the knot in a candlelit Buddhist ceremony on New Year’s Day at the Thai resort of Phuket.
A rep for Moss countered: "Contrary to various entirely false media reports today, there has not been any kind of marriage ceremony in Thailand. She is on holiday."
The Sun said the ceremony wasn't legally binding in Britain, and named January 18 as the couple’s official wedding day.
The Mirror quoted an anonymous friend of Moss', who said that the ceremony was an expression of the couple's mutual devotion.
Both papers ran blurry images -- allegedly showing the backs of the couple’s heads -- with Moss’ hair pulled back, and Doherty sporting his beloved trilby hat.
Reports of impending nuptials have been circulating for months, after the couple was spotted ring-shopping in October and Moss was seen sporting a sparkler and her left ring finger.
