It's nice to finally see Lionel's little girl happy after all she has gone through in her life. Lionel Richie was a good man to give this little girl a good (simple?) life.

Days after he and Nicole Richie welcomed daughter Harlow, Joel Madden can't stop gushing over his newborn.
"I am finally home with my beautiful girlfriend and our brand new little daughter," he writes on his MySpace blog under the heading "It's a Girl!!!!"
"She is 19 inches long and growing everyday already! We are so blessed to have this beautiful little baby in our lives."
He adds that the baby "looks so much like her mom its crazy!"
And how is Harlow?
"She eats like a little maniac and she's really sweet," Madden says. "She barely ever cries, even when daddy is changing her diaper, and believe me I suck when it comes to diapers, but I'm learning! I can't wait to show off some pictures."
He is asking friends and family not to send gifts or cards, but to "make a donation to the Richie-Madden Foundation, which we started in Harlow Winter's honor."

Congrads! Having a baby is a beautiful thing. I'm glad Harlow (which I agree with Paris, is the coolest name!) looks like her mom. Nicole is so pretty, I hope she doesn't have another eating disorder, because my sister had one, and eating disorders never go away. Joel is a very attractive man, and Harlow is going to be so spoiled! But congratulations to the lucky parents!

Nicole is pretty ugly, but I've seen waaaay uglier, so compared to them, she's average lookin=)

Okay, okay...a lot of people on here are saying dumb comments about the baby being ugly if she looks like her mother. "F off" that baby is a gift from God to the both of them! That baby will teach Nicole her greatest lesson in life. Being a mother is a wonderful thing and I'm proud of her for stepping up to the challenge. She has become such a strong woman in a short time and if u can't see that u suckm her and joel are beautiful together. I wish them the best and say welcome to the world and all the haters in it baby Harlow.

I think it is a shame that everyone thinks Nicole is now OK. Eating disorders have a funny way of rearing their ugly head. Especially with all those hormones. I do wish them the best, babies are a wonderful thing but mark my words, it won't be long before it all starts to fall apart :-(

PS. Race does not matter but do your research before you comment. Nicole is the adopted daughter of Lionel and Brenda Ritchie but she was born Nicole Escovedo...her birth mom is reportedly white, her dad is mexican and black.
Looking at her you can clearly tell she is biracial. It's called hair dye, duh! She is not ugly and anyone hating on her is just jealous b/c she's young and rich.

People it is 2008, race doesn't have a thing to do with love these days. When you're really attracted to someone, trust me race is not an issue. I bet little Harlow is really beautiful and if a girl takes after her mother that makes it all more speacial for the dad. He probably wanted a little Nicole running around. People grow up and be happy for the two of them. If you're not, then follow this old saying, "if you don't have nothing nice to say, don't say nothing at all."
