After a string of failed romances – Nick Lachey, Adam Levine, John Mayer — Jessica Simpson says she is now looking for a different type of guy: a family man.
“Like, if a kid were to come up to him and tug on his shirt, he’d pick him up on twirl him around,” she explained on The View Thursday. “I definitely love a family man, a guy that’s not afraid to pick up the babies.”
Oh yeah, she added: “And somebody who wants to meet my grandparents immediately ... if he has a cute butt, that’s all right.”
(Her celeb crush? “[George] Clooney is a little hottie,” she gushed. “He’s a man!”
Still the single singer, 27, said she is too busy for love at the moment.
“I’m kind of married to my music right now and focusing on writing an album,” said Simpson, who is recording a country album in Nashville.

do i think jessica should of left nick ? my answer would have to be yes, and no. in my eyes, i feel like jessica and nick shared something together that neither vanessa nor anyone jessica dates could ever compare to what they shared and had together, jessica started dating nick at a very young age and gave him something that means so much, her virginity. I wish they never got divorce, but sometimes when you've been with only one person for years, you feel like you could be possibly missing out on other things, if anyones seen the special last year on mtv, when jessica sang the song " let him fly " she could barely finish singing the end without being in tears because she truly loved nick with all her heart and she will forever. people need to understand that being famous and always being in the spotlight, has some disadvantages, and thats what happened to them. at the time, jessica probably felt she needed time apart from nick to figure out her life and if the decision of her marriage was right or not. I believe, one day that nick and jessica will get back together, they just need to have there own space and time to realize that they could never love anyone else as much as they love eachother..

Jessica is so stupid!!! She's looking for what she already had with Nick Lachey. From the Newlyweds, Nick wanted a family more then anything. She is really pissing me off. She needs to try and privately patch things up with Nick and see if they could have a third chance. I truely believe they are meant for one another. You think Jessica would have learned from the first time of breaking off their relationship. I also kind of have a feeling that Nick is waiting for Jessica to say she's sorry. As long as Jessica is not with Nick, I will not support her in the music industry because she doesn't know what she wants in life.

Stop hating on Nick and Jess. The truth is Jess didn't want Nick and this is the truth. She wanted to be driven by other drivers. Nick was famous before Jess and this is why her dad insisted she not sign Nick's prenup. Get your facts straight haters. Jess only became popular after she married Nick and it went to her head as well as her dad's who is an ex youth pastor. They have forsaken their religion. She was a virgin and Nick respected her for it and he loved her dearly.

Hellooooo, even her ex-husband NICK has said in the Rolling Stones interview that JESSICA WAS A VIRGIN before their wedding night and it was a huge deal for her which he respected and appreciated! Since he was the first man who slept with her and "seen" her inside out, I totally believe him rather than believing those "high school losers"! It is a KNOWN fact that Jessica was NOT a virgin until marriage, Before her debut album "Sweet Kisses" came out a local news station interviewed some of Jessica's High School friends and one of them let it slip that she was not a virgin.

People who went to High School with Jessica at J.J. Pierce will tell you the EXACT same thing.
Jessica has even admitted in Teen People that she is a good liar and can lie good if she wants to.

I happened to catch Jessica's appearance on The View and almost felt bad for her. Her face had a very stiff quality I think she uses a lot of injectables i.e. restylane and botox. The top of her face barely moved. Sad granted she's not even thirty yet. I think she has self esteem issues and is too wrapped up in her physical appearance. She seemed kind of sad and I got the impression that she is lonely and somewhat cynical. Newlyweds is done and all of this he/she said stuff should be laid to rest. At this point, who the hell cares who cheated. Any fame that Nick or Jessica garnered from that show is becoming irrelevant. Both need to make it on their own merits with talent not hype. I do think that Vanessa has gotten a bad rap from this mess. She has a great look and good personality for tv...she should focus on revamping her tv career rather than focus on acting.

Does anyone not remember that Jessica was a VIRGIN until her wedding night???? Can you say the same for Nick?? Jessica has not had x-rated pictures floating around the internet....how about Nick? Nick was the first to date someone else after the split (and rather quickly). Their marriage just didn't work for whatever reason. Maybe in a different time and place they will be together again.
