Some of you posters appear to be a clutch of wrens ( gossipy hens) who have nothing better to do then to slam crude remarks against a woman you don't even know. I think she is ultra lucky to have found a Scotsman for her fiance, and the ring is an heirloom, and if it's ugly in some one else's eyes, SO WHAT???? It's probably got much more meaning than the ones that YOU DON"T HAVE....and if she lost weight???AGain. WHO CARES???

She doesn't need me to wish her good luck. SHE ALREADY HAS IT. She has a terrific series with Ghost Whisperer (and her TV husband is easy on the eye too).

If she doesn't care about what other people think and loves the way she is then why did she go on a diet and exercise regimine and lose 18lbs???

After reading some of the other comments I have to ask.....are we all in high school??? What does it matter what she looks like? She is beautiful, successful, talented, and happy. What else matters? If you don't like her as an acctress that's fine, but nobody on here actually knows her in person so how can you say that you hate someone you don't even know? As for her ring I think it is beautiful and the sentiment behind it is even more beautiful. The fact that he gave her a family heirloom is an amazing gift in and of itself and he must love her very much. I find it a refreshing change from all the huge rocks that celebrities are getting as engagement rings now. It doesn't matter how big your ring is, and if it does matter to you then you are just shallow and materialistic. It's the sentiment behind the ring and the love you share as a couple that matters.

i think a person is beautiful for who they are and not what they look like.I would love to be a size 6,let alone a 0 or a 2. But I am happy with a 12.I have my days, but we all do. news people can be cruel, for instance in the enquire! If anybody took pictures of me like they do the celebs i would just die! I would probably hurt someone. if ya have celulite, oh well, get over it, we are are flawed some way. no one is perfect. and no one is really happy the way they look, so be happy for who you are, and you are always loved. as for the ring, getting a ring period is a sign of love and beautiful. it does not matter what anybody else thinks. antique or not, it is a love ring. be happy, and ignore the idiots.

Yes, Wicked, I know where the garmet district is. I use to love going down there with my Grandma on Saturday's when I was a kid. You could get some good buys on nice stuff back then.
