Janice Dickinson, an outspoken fan of plastic surgery, has some new work she will soon take public.
Usmagazine.com has learned exclusively that Dickinson, 52, the self-proclaimed "world's first supermodel," underwent a tummy tuck and "mini neck lift" Monday in Beverly Hills. The surgeon: Dr. Frank Ryan, the plastic surgeon to the stars who famously augmented the breasts of Hills star Heidi Montag.
A source tells Us that while "Janice knows people will think she didn't need a tummy tuck," she's been complaining about "a lot of extra skin" on her lower abdomen and wanted tighter abs. The source adds that she opted for the mini neck lift as an after thought because "she might as well since she was going under."
According to the source, Dickinson, star of Oxygen Network's Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency, is now resting at the Serenity after-care center in Santa Monica.
Just prior to having a facelift in 2004, Dickinson explained the appeal of plastic surgery to Entertainment Tonight: "I consider plastic surgery important because I'm in front of the camera, I still model, and, quite frankly, I was noticing my skin looking like a turkey wobbler. I'm just trying to hang on to what I got."
A rep for Dickinson couldn't be reached for comment.

The film that was shown to the models regarding PETA and FUR is so very true. One of the comments on here by a man who said he is a furrier by trade is so WRONG. So what if animals are raised on ranches for their FUR. My GOD they are still killed in horrible ways all for purpose of humans wearing their fur. Have you no COMPASSION for the voiceless? GET A JOB SOMEWHERE ELSE and leave the animals alone. THANK YOU JANICE for showing this on your show. I wish more would. I THINK YOU ARE GREAT and if you feel the need to get plastic surgery, THEN DO SO. I did some years back and very glad I did. Those on here complaining about your surgery are just jealous because they cannot afford it. THANK YOU FOR HAVING COMPASSION FOR ANIMALS.....

im surprised that ms dickiiiiiiiiiin, would show a peta event, im a furrier by trade and gay, anf been around the block. these animals are ranched anhd raised for furs purposes. that vedio that these model morons wre watching was, bs. i dont think any of these kids will ever be in the presence of people w/ real money to really what fur is really worn for. they may get but but for working maybe on the back. no pun.. i fmissy is that concerned about whats out thwere. please test your models for drugs, and hiv, and see how many r willing to march ther results down west hollywood, i dont think they will. im just feeling stupied about htis , but please, dont tarnish, what has helped missy in the past make money, by modeling furs.

I remember Twiggy very well, and thought Jean Shrimpton preceded her by a couple of years, but never even heard of Dickinson until she began to get press for ANTM and her bit on the Surreal Life. First "super model"? I think not.

Before, when she was in ANTM i liked her, now i saw a pic of her face and is horrible, and she said that "Skinnier the models , better" Ugh. She`s horrible. I hope one day that all that...Things. I had a tummy tuck after 2 c-sections and the results were amazing, I would never go as far as to have other work done, but having 2 c-sections ruined my stomach in ways you wouldn't believe and no amount of exercise or dieting brought it back.

I just wanted to say to the person who said she "had been around the track quite a bit". Janice is 52 years old and listed were like 8 men. I dont think that is being sleezy at all. I would also believe that isnt all the men she has been with either, there are probably more but I dont think that looking of for love is such a bad thing. If you dont suceed try and try again. Isnt that slogan? Should she be alone to you, is that better? If she isnt hurting anyone why does it matter how many guys she goes out with? And why is that sleezy? If it were a man who dated lots of women what would you call him? I say keep looking until you find that one, and in the mean time enjoy yourself. Noting wrong with a woman being strong and dating whoever she feels like.

The plastic surgery she had previously didn't improve her looks, and I am almost certain anymore surgery isn't going to do any better.
She may want to try eating, and working out. Those two things might help her more than the slicing and dicing.

I am so sick of her proclaiming to be the first "supermodel". There were lots before her, they just don't have to yell about it to make themselves more important.
To the person who hoped she didn't have kids, she has a son named Nathan. Poor kid, so ugly! Seems dumb too.
I also just don't see the appeal, I find her unattractive, even in pics from back in her heyday. Not to mention loud, brash, obnoxious, tacky, and just plain rude.

Most celebs end up looking worse after plastic surgery. I doesn't make them look younger, only alien looking. Very few get it done tastefully. I mean look at Janice and Joan Rivers they look creepy and unnatural. It's like a freak show. It shouldn't be so noticeable.

Well I don't think she had children, I hope. But a tummy tuck after child birth can be a blessing. And at her age a little extra skin in the neck area can really age you. So those two procedures aren't that big of a deal. I do have a problem w/all the face chopping, and injections to plump her lips ect. I really don't even like this woman, too bad they can't sew her lips together. Maybe a court mandate.
