FACEBOOKI still believe if it weren't for her having been chosen to play Selena in the movie, she's still be a hidden beauty......who can dance but singing, well I believe she only had LUCK in that department......it's has to be her big bleep that got her any further. I'm sure without the glamour and hours of sitting on a chair while others make her face up, she'd look just like you or me. Much props to her life now but she should have come to pay a tribute to the person who made her famous, Selena when they had the Tribute here in Texas..........all the other big Latin stars came out and made time, but oh no, not big time Jenny from who cares what block!

It's been a mere matter of days since American Idol host Ryan Seacrest told us that Jenny From the Block would be gracing the Idol stage in April, but the 38-year-old diva could hardly contain her excitement at the 79th annual Academy Awards.
The powerhouse performer, who walked the red carpet press line with hubby Marc Anthony, stopped by to chat with E!'s Ryan Seacrest about her upcoming appearance.
"I’m very excited about it," Lopez says. "[American Idol] is one of our favorite shows. We TiVo it and are watching the early auditions."
The singer was mum on specific details about her Idol itinerary, but did reveal that she will perform.
Lopez's Idol stint comes on the heels of a promotional tour for her first ever Spanish language album, "Como Ama Una Mujer" ("How a Woman Loves"), which hits stores March 27. For fans eager to get a sneak peak at the diva's follow-up disc, tune into MTV's TRL, where her latest video "Que Hiciste," has been climbing the charts.

Okay....J-Lo is sooooooo freakin pretty, so why in the hell did she, take that back, how in the hell did she fall in love with that FUGLY A guy! He can't sing to save his life and his looks are shot to hell! Somebody needs to pump food in that poor guys stomache....I just don't understand how the prettiest women in Hollywood resort to dating or marrying these UGLY a guys, like Jessica Simpson with John Mayor, that poor dude looks like a corpse of Edward Scissorhands...They can have ne guy in this world they wanted and they pick out the Ugliest! Somebody needs to knock some sense into these chicks in Hollywood!

Not exactly a J-lo fan but I admire someone who most people consider to "have no talent" but yet managed somehow to become extremely wealthy off of the entertainment business. how did she manage to do that if she has no talent? I want that secret, I can't sing, act or dance but if she gave me her secret I'd do it.

Soooo all this talk that Jennifer Lopez can NOT sing is a whole bunch of BS. Obviously she has sold, Millions (yes MILLIONS) of records, so that tells me, that she can sing. If she couldn't sing, you think someone would of signed her to a record label? EXACTLY... This is her 5th album coming out. Yeah Jen is no Christina Aguilera, or a Mariah, but she does have a distinctive tone to her.... Great job Jennifer!!!

J Lo may be successful but she stepped on a lot of people to get where she is and that is what is most unappealing about her. Never mind that she cant sing there are lots of artists who cant sing. Never mind that she cant act there loads of actors who cant act. It's her selfish attitude, this grandiosity she possesses. Lets not forget that she stole Marc away from a happy marriage and family just because SHE COULD. I agree that she is with him only so that she doesnt have to worry about anyone stealing him or worry about being in competition as he is only a huge star in Latin America. She has done a lot for Latin women in entertainment but she has a lot to learn about being a good human being.

I just don't understand the hate some of you have for JLo. She is talented and is a very good actress. The reason so much hate comes from most people is that it erks them to see that a Latina has the talent and the determination to go after her dream. JLO has made it!!. She is a very savey business woman, and a couple of years ago an article was written about her and her acting talent. Jenny from the block was compared to Meryl Streep, if she totally focused on her acting she could become another Meryl Streep.However JLo stated that she wants to do it her way, and that is exactly what she is doing. Marc is a wonderful singer in Spanish and English. Jlo is a very bad singer in Spanish and English but she's a great dancer.
