On September 17, Tony Barretto revealed himself as the "mystery witness" in the Federline v. Spears custody case. Citing instances of drug use and drinking, he told the Today show on Monday that his decision to come forward was based on his concern for Spears' sons, Sean Preston (2) and Jayden James (1), who he thinks are in danger under their mother's care.
We asked you if you believe Barretto, and despite last week's judge's order describing Spears as a "habitual and frequent" user of controlled substances, over half of you said you still stand by the pop-mom.
When asked, do you believe Barretto's claims, you answered:

Who cares if we think he is lying? That is for the judge to decide. It takes a lot to take a child away from a mother. We only see pictures and a writers take on a person from someone wanting to make money off the celebrity that jilted them. I agree with 3:00Anonymous. Britney's supposed "loyal fans" just can't seem to accept that this girl's got issues. It's one thing to root for her and hopes she turns herself around, it's another thing to just assume everything everyone including what her own family and friends are saying about her are lies, all because you're still fixated on her music and what she was years ago. Everyone (well not really everyone) is rooting for her big comeback. That's crazy cuz this girl needs to be focused on her kids right now, they are still so little and I'm sure they're not smothered with her attention enough as it is. My boys are slightly older than hers and even they require all my attention....course they're napping right now though. Either way wasn't she once trying to give advice on how to be a good mother (how silly she sounded) by saying to be a really good mother your kids require all your attention. She's friggin' loony and needs to be a mother first, trainwreck\performer last.
Thank you! This is 3:00 anon, and I just wanted to add that I would love to see her straighten her life out and make a great comeback! I think she could balance motherhood and music but just has to straighten certain things out, first.
