Suzy Preston and Matt Hoover from The Biggest Loser 2 are expecting their first child, Us has learned.
The couple, both 30, met while filming NBC’s weight loss competition reality series and married in Jamaica in September. Hoover proposed in March while the two were taping a live fitness segment on the Today show.
At the start of the show, Hoover weighed in at 339 pounds and Preston tipped the scales at 227. After losing a combined 252 pounds, Hoover and Preston now weigh 182 pounds and 132 pounds, respectively. Hoover was the competition's biggest loser and took home the $250,000 grand prize, while Preston won $25,000 as second runner-up.
He is a former wrestling coach from Iowa, and the mom-to-be is a Seattle-based hairstylist.

Suzy, you know how to eat right. Don't get hung up on putting weight back on. It'll come off. I lost 135 pounds and then got pregnant. I lost all the baby weight right away and now weigh what I did before I got pregnant. Best of luck to both of you.

Matt/Suzy: please ignore all the negativity out there ... some people just can't bear to see others happy or to have any real happiness for themselves. Life can be short and difficult ... enjoy every single moment of what is good!

wasn't he married though when they met? and then when the show was over he left his wife for her????
regardless, at least they look happy! i hope she doesn't struggle with weight issues after the baby is born... or even during her pregnacy. i've heard of women getting seriously depressed after losing a lot of weight and then getting pregnant because they don't want to gain it back! wish them all the luck in the world!

It's not exactly an exclusive. Celebrity Baby Blog posted about it last night, as did I. Great news none the less. Very happy for the two biggest losers, they're even using their notoriety from the biggest loser to try and help others lose weight. Good on 'em.
