EXCLUSIVE: Carmen vs. Celine: Electra to Star in Strip Show

Move over, Celine! Usmagazine.com has learned exclusively that Carmen Electra is taking her sexy act to the Las Vegas strip this May to star in a magic/variety show with hunky Dutch magician Hans Klok at the future home of the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.
A source familiar with the mega-deal tells Us that Electra, 34, who was a musical artist on Prince's record label prior to her Playboy, Baywatch, and MTV reality fame, will sing and dance in the show, which is set to debut on May 12.
The source says that Electra will perform five shows a week in a 13-week run. "She will be doing what she loves to do most," says a source close to Electra. Reps for both Planet Hollywood and Electra had no comment.

What scares me about the people that regularly post responses to tabs is not just the complete and utter absorption into whats been spoon fed and their own perception. Nope that's par for the course because tabs are a mindless distraction from our own boring: lives/jobs/ dreams/soap opera fantasies/fame fantasies etc. What scares me the most is the sense of entitlement these posters have over other people's lives. Like celebrities dont deserve to be human in any way because they OWE us for watching their movies, buying their music, buying their magazine photo....God forbid they make a choice for personal reasons because that would be ...bad?! I mean don't you ever get tired of dissecting every.little.detail of these people's lives? doesn't your own life and dont your choices deserve that kind of scrutiny? Well I think the lovefest over Jennifer is waning I noticed. The Vogue pics are getting not so hot reviews and her first outing with the Clive Davis party was also not reviewed well. I am starting to like her but i think the hype got a bit too much into overdrive for this newbie. I already see where this is heading. So personally, I don't think Bey has anything to worry about. She's gotten to the level where such as MJ, Prince, and Madonna she is getting criticism. That just means she's arrived.....

I've always liked Carmen, She's seems a little more down to earth than alot of the other "Hollywood-Playboy model" types. But, I can't figure out why she wouldn't sign those pictures. That seems kind of snobby, but she's never come off like that before. Maybe she's trying to put the "nude" days behind her.
