The Hills girls returned this week to bring the season's soap-operatic tensions to a heated head.
The creator of this week's drama? None other than legendary troublemaker Jen Bunney.
The reality series' favorite fair-weather friend returned with a vengeance to blame Brody Jenner for spreading those pesky LC sex-tape rumors. If Jenner's alleged involvement sounds fishy to you, it's probably because it is. After all, Bunney's tip comes courtesy of Heidi Montag, who seems to be doing everything possible to protect her man Spencer Pratt.
Traveling as all juicy gossip does these days - via text message - Bunney informs LC that they "need to talk" and they agree to meet for lunch after being at odds for a handful of months. Idle chatter comprises the initial few seconds of the ladies' lunch, until Bunney lays it on Lauren: "So...Heidi says Brody spread those rumors."
However, wanting to play nice, Bunney quickly offers a consolation, saying that she wanted to call her when the rumor mill reached fever pitch, but it "just wasn't the right time."
Slightly suspicious of her flirty friend Brody, Lauren confronts the Prince of Malibu at a cozy dinner for two. Lauren admits that while she's "obviously not mad at Jen," she's angry that Brody's name could even be brought up in a situation like this.
Brody at first skirts the issue, reluctant to immediately admit he knows Speidi are to blame. But, just as we're starting to have a sinking feeling Brody might be the source of the rumors, all is resolved when the hottie looks Lauren in the eyes and insists that he knows "100% for a fact that they did it."

well, jen is def. a trouble maker....but id jen never went back and forth between lauren and heidi lauren would of still been wondering if heidi and spencer did it or not...i think that it should be out in the open that heidi (also a trouble maker) obviously...

Plus..Spencer looks like a serial killer with his big a$$ eyes and hes not even hott..He freaks me out..Heidi could have done better cuz even though I'm not a fan of hers at all she still is a pretty girl.
And what freaks me out the most about those 2 is that they look like they could be brother and sister EWWWWW.....

Well we all know what the show is about so why don't the producers focus on that. This whole rumor issue has gone on long enough. Jason is engaged and has moved on so why can't the rest of them. The show has drama and keeps you wanting more but dwelling on the rumor issue only has so much steam.

Because Jen and Lauren are FRIENDS! Some of you have no concept of friendship. Brody didn't owe Lauren anything, but your friends are supposed to have your back, not go behind your back and make you look like an idiot. If Jen had TOLD Lauren she wanted to hook up with Brody, Lauren probably wouldn't have cared. But to go behind her back and create this whole drama about how she wanted to hook up with brody, but ooh Lauren wouldn't like it, is just about trying to make herself look hot, like her friend is really into this guy but she can get him anyway, and making Lauren look like an idiot who is more into this guy than she probably really was but can't keep him or something.

It's called "scripted reality" The show has a writing staff who comes up with the plotlines...Lauren's sex tapes, etc. Then the "talent" tries to make it "real"
It's reality with a director, a producer, and script writers.
Is Pro-Wresting real? Sounds like Heidi and Spencer are great at playing the "villians". People love hating them, it's fun to boo at the bad guys.

I for one am all for Spencer and Heidi, they are a lovely couple and they are getting by in a place where no one really likes them. They will be much bigger stars than Luaren and all those other wh*&$s that live in the HILS.

we all know that mtv does creative editing for the show, but for crying out loud- when heidi was in the bathroom and her and spencer were whining at how heidi's boss had scolded her spencer's face was completely clean-shaven. but then at the end when they are discussing the brody/sex tape rumor fiasco, he has that nasty beard again like he's had for the last few weeks. i mean c'mon - at least make it look like all this happened in the same week?

Heidi & Spencer are media/attention WHOR*S!!!! All they care about is personal gain and they don't care who they hurt in the process.
I think Lauren should stay far away from Heidi and she should not attempt to repair that friendship. Heidi is probably unhappy with her decrease in TV time so she's trying to get back in the loop by making good with Lauren...

It's such a facade and it's so painfully obvious how lacking in self-esteem these two losers are every time I watch...the last scene where Heidi is eyeing Spencer while he sits on the couch/ works really hard at nothing.. it is so very obvious even she knows the truth! He is not only fugly but he constantly appears insane and on the verge of something nasty!! His joker like grin absolutely drives me mad..Honestly when he says he loves it when he gets hated on it makes me laugh! I have known plenty of kids like him..total losers in high school (just because you are rich doesn't mean you can't be a total loser) who have a huge chip on their shoulder....so transparent

Number one when you go out for a promotion that SOMEONE ELSE tells you THEY are going out for it's a really underhanded thing to do going behind that persons back and getting an interview for it first. The thing she should have done was said, even if it was in passing, "do you think they would consider me for that postion" but no that's to much for Heidi..morals LMAO because she has none...and THEN for her to take off on her litteral first big assignment since getting the job no matter what the reason and just blow it off handing it over to anyone else is just stupid. Anyone who gets a promotion NORMALLY will be like you know what this is my time to shine I think I should handle at least the first few events so that I can really showcase my talents and point out why they picked the right person for the job...but she didn't do that did she? No she chose to hand it off to someone who was obviously giving her the cold shoulder...but hey no one ever said that Heidi was the brightest bulb in the box that's for sure. I applaud Elodie for what she did if I had been in her position I would have done the same thing...and no it's not just about business...you can't play up being someone's friend in their face and then twist the knife and wonder why they feel hurt.
As they say Karma is a pain in the butt and Heidi is getting hers in spades.....

Heidi did deserve it. She knew that Elodie wanted to go for that job. Elodie was there much longer than Heidi.
Another thing when Heidi went to tell her boss that it was all taking care of did she tell him? NO, she pawned it off on Elodie so she could have her dinner with Spencer?She should have told her boss and he would have told her that Elodie gave her resignation.
She thought she could use reliable Elodie.She got the tables turned on her and got what she deserved.

Because Jen is a wanna be and she knows she is. She knows Lauren doesnt trust her and right now Heidi needs friends, and she will take them anyway she can.
Last weeks episode with Heidi and Spencer having their "anniversary" dinner and Heidi got called to work. Did anyone notice the fury in Spencers eyes. I really thought he was going to hit her.
Heidi is in denial.You wont see them together much longer and the marriage will never take place(unless its a quicky pushed on by Spencer).
She needs to wake up.

I think Spencer gave it away at the end of the show with his facial expressions and I think Heidi knows that and the look on her face said it all. Its amazing how people don't have to say anything because thier facial expressions say it all for them.
Did anyone see the previews for next week when Heidi is walking out the door and Spencer asked where she's going and she says "I'm going to work, maybe you should try it sometime." That was hilarious!!! Can't wait for next week.
Although we all know that speidi is still together so we know Heidi is clueless about Spencer.
