In tinseltown, big, flashy weddings are the norm. Except if you’re Katherine Heigl. The Grey’s Anatomy actress’ December 23 wedding will be “very small and intimate — not like an Eva Longoria or even a Kate Walsh wedding,” a friend of the couple tells Us.
And nevermind those reports that Heigl, 28, and her fiancé, singer Josh Kelley, 27, will tie the knot at her Utah home: “It will not be at Katherine’s house,” says the pal, although “it will be in the Park City–Deer Valley area.”
Invites haven’t gone out yet, but one Grey’s castmate will definitely be there. T.R. Knight “is a brother and a best friend to her,” says the friend. “She wouldn’t get married without him.”

There is something VERY fake about Katherine Heigl and trust me, I have learned to trust my instincts about ppl. I don't think she is as real as she would have us believe and she seems quite like a snob!

Really? You're comparing Kate Walsh to Eva Longoria. There was nothing ostentatious about Kate's wedding.It was not a star studded event, just her co-workers and Kate Becinsale who's husband is Kate's husband's co-worker. She had four long tables at her wedding, her cake was simple and elegant as was her dress. Help me out because I'm just not seeing the comparison.My wedding looked more outrageous.
And Kate Walsh and her new husband will be at Katherine's wedding-Kate confirmed it in an interview. She also said Katherine is in the middle of her 'tastings' for her wedding.I think this will be a big wedding too.
And to the poster who said Katherine is not doing this for publicity: then why every week for the past year do I read about some detail of Katherine's wedding?
