Diana Wolozin, the masseuse who discovered Heath Ledger's body Tuesday spent nine minutes making three phone calls to Mary-Kate Olsen before she called 911, the Associated Press reports.
She then called Olsen a fourth time after paramedics arrived.
Police sources tell the AP that the calls are not relevant to their investigation since they believe Ledger was dead when Wolozin arrived.
They have ruled out foul play.
Police originally said Wolozin made two calls to Olsen for guidance, but they upped the number to four after taking a closer look at Ledger's phone records, the AP reports.
Wolozin (who is not listed on the New York State Education Department's Web site, which tracks licensed health care professionals) knew that Olsen's number was programmed into Ledger's phone.
Both the New York Post and New York's Daily News reported that Olsen and Ledger had been dating.
A timeline:
1 p.m. Ledger's housekeeper says she saw him sleeping and heard what she thought was snoring.
2:45 p.m. Wolozin shows up for Ledger's massage appointment and knocks on his door.
3 p.m. She calls his cell phone to wake him up.
She sets up her massage table.
3:17 p.m. She calls Olsen. The conversation lasts 49 seconds.
3:20 p.m. She calls Olsen again. The conversation lasts one minute and 39 seconds.
3:24 p.m. She calls Olsen a third time. The conversation lasts 21 seconds.
3:26 p.m. She calls 911.
3:33 p.m. Paramedics arrive and go up in the elevator to the apartment with Olsen's security guards (whom Olsen had called to check out the scene).
Paramedics do not allow the security guards into the bedroom where Ledger is.
3:34 p.m. Wolozin calls Olsen a fourth time. The length of that conversation is unknown.
3:36 p.m. Ledger is declared dead.

Why are you guys so worked up about this? It happens! People are born, and people die. The autopsies and investigations show that it was accidental. We can say it's a loss of talent, but really, if he wasn't famous, if this was just another news story about someone who nobody knows, would you care? Would you have the same opinion, and be vocal about the things that could have been done? Would have the same concern for the cirucumstances of his death, or if he wasn't treated respectfuly after death?
I don't want to be insensitive, but we need to realize that these things are happening every day. If you guys care as much as you say you do about the sanctity of life, be active in different ways. We can't just pity him because he's a celebrity. What is a celebrity? Someone who happens to have a more public profession. There are just as talented people in other fields, but their face is not plastered all over the place. We shouldn't, as a country, be so obssessed with movie stars.
We feel sad for them when they get depressed. We say the paparazzi shouldn't go after them. We say magazines shouldn't pay for the money shots. But why do they do this? They do this because America has an addiction. And there's no rehab. Celebreties get depressed b/c the media chases them and they have no personal life. But why?
IT IS BECAUSE PEOPLE WANT IT. People pay for the pictures. They buy the magazines. WE KILLED HIM!!!
This cant be ignored.

I think honestly Mary-Kate had something to do with it...and until they say otherwise, that is what I will believe, Heath Ledger was one of my favorite actors, and will be severily missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family, Michelle and his daughter. That poor little girl will never again know her father, except through stories. I hope she grows to know that her father was a good man.

Like everybody else, I AM SHOCKED!! I live in Brazil, so far away, but it is as if i lived just around his corner. Great great actor, and very interesting guy... As for the housekeeper, how do people so irresponsible take care of someone like that!!!Didn´t ANYBODY see how sad he was, how not well taken care he was?? I really feel sorry for him...

I don't think the masseuse is to blame, yes she should have called 911 first, but she is probably some foreigner who didn't know what the hell to do and Mary Kate should have told her call 911 or call 911 herself, but so much for her brains. He was probably already dead since he wasn't answering the phone or door. He is the only one at fault here, whether it be accidental or intentional.

An Unfortunate accident that was handled wrong. How would you react to the same scene?? Hind sight is 20/20 as they say. I think the woman did what she thought was right at the time. Who knows, she may already be looking back and wishing she had made a 911 call first. Then again, maybe not. I think we too easily judge others. There is no real reason to doubt at this time that this situation was just a tragic accident.

I feel that Heath was an amazing actor and was lost to soon. One thing that makes me angry is all of this addiction speculation. There is no proof he was an addict. He had reported trouble sleeping and it in my opinon is and accidental over dose. Until the find concrete ividence that he WAS an addict calling him on at this moment is very inapropriate

Erin, you are the first person to say what I have been thinking all along. I wondered if i was the only person who didnt want to know the details of how one of my favorite actors died or the circumstances in which he died. He was such a private person, it is not fair that he was not given any privacy when he could no longer defend himself.
The media has no sense of decency. It seems that anything goes. The real problem is not the paparazzi. It is the media outlets that are paying money for these low, low, low shots. I wonder how the people taking these "money shots" would feel if it was their children, their brother, their friend who was treated this way.
Rest in peace Heath. Thank you for everything you have given the world in your short time here. You won't be forgotton and I hope that everyone prays for you and your entire family.

Im not gonna lie, this is interesting and all and i have been checking up on whats going on but i really think that the public has no right to know some of this stuff. I shouldnt know that he was naked when he was found, or that there was a $20 rolled up next to his body and i for damn sure shouldn't be seeing him being removed in a body bag to a waiting crowd of photographers. To add insult to injury, there are pictures of his greiving ex as she steps off the plane with there baby. You know there were probably about 50 people getting in her face to get those money shots who dont care that she has to deal with her daughter losing one of the most important people in her lives. There is absolutly no respect for the dead here no matter how many tributes are being splashed across magazine covers

Also, have to demand from the masseuse to know why she didn't call 911 right away. She waited almost nine minutes between her first call to Mary-Kate to call 911. Even stupid neanderthals know that if you see someone unconscious you call 911 immediately.
It's sad to think that if they hadn't been so selfish and stupid, he might be alive today.

Surely the woman was freaked out, and he was already dead so what difference does it make how long it took for her to call 911... it was already too late when she got there. No one knows what they would do in a panic. By then he was cold and lying in his own waste, which is part of dying. AND HE WAS NAKED! Wonder if those pictures will surface later, you know everyone has cell phones with cameras and the man was lying there with his diccck hanging out and balls frozen in his own urine. Yuck. What could calling 911 first change?
