I am sure she'd like to think the political world revolves around her and her vote, or that a candidates presidency will make or break with her at their side. Cliche or not the over-fishing and whaling of the oceans has already caused severe damage to the sustainability of many types of fish, fish that we rely on for sources of protein. Now people in America might not care because they can always have a BigMac at McDonalds but for much of the world that is not an option (not bad in some ways). But for many small, poor communities the fishermen are having to go further and further out in boats that we not intended for deep sea fishing. They have to go further out to try and find enough fish to make a living since the populations closer to shore have been depleted by large scale commercial fisherman, mostly from Japan, the States and Russia. Try to get over your cynicism and understand that it's not just about saving whales. It effects real, live people who are worthy of your sympathy, if that's not too much to ask in this jaded, seen it all, care about none of it, celebrity driven world.

Just had to comment on how naive and grossly ignorant of her to believe that 1) at the age of eighteen she warrants a captive audience from the presidential candidates and 2) that saving the whales should be prioritized (at least in her warped mind) over every other issue at hand.

It's people like this that voted for Bush. Get a clue.

2 Points:
1. It's pretty clear Hillary would have to overcome a lot to seal the presidentcy.
2. Hillary rented out the Lincoln Bedroom to her buddies - grossly disrespectful.
3. Hayden is a spokes person for several demographics. She respresents the young vote, the young female vote, and an animal rights group (which I'm sure other animal rights groups are watching intently to see what Hillary says).
4. what harm would it be for Hillary to talk to her? It would only help and she needs the help.

The fact that Hillary has yet to call her despite everything that isn't going her way - and even if it was - just shows how much Hillary disregards her voters. We shouldn't have to contribute to Hillary's campaign funds in order to get her opinions on issues voters find important. (or maybe she doesn't have a platform on the subject & that's why she hasn't called Hayden). She works for us. It is her priviledge, not ours, to speak with us and address our concerns. This just validates why we shouldn't vote for Hillary.

Hillary or Barack have more important issues on their plate than saving the whales. I hate whale killing, but let's get real, Hayden!

Wow, the last blog posted was very refreshing!!! I am sooo glad to see that there is someone else out there that is in awe of the “save the whale” campaign when abortion is still legal in this country. It is unfortunate that a baby can be murdered legally but we would arrest and press charges against anyone who would attempt to kill an animal. Please don't get me wrong....I LOVE animals, and I would do anything to protect them, but we need to get our priorities straight. By the way, who cares how Hayden P. is going to vote. I highly doubt that her opinion will sway anyone’s decision.

I read the same thing on Eonline and she said she contacted Hilary's PARTY. They will probably get back to Hayden through one of her advisers. She talked to Barack because she went to one of his rallies and these are all things anyone can do not just celebrities.
