Forgive us for not noticing this sooner. Two days ago, Gwen Stefani, 37, finally completed the demolition of the hair edifice she erected on her head for the Billboard Music Awards on December 4th.
We like to think that she kept the structure intact during all that time by donning one of those massive clear head globes before bedtime like the early scuba divers used to wear (occasionally rolling over and knocking slumbering husband Gavin Rossdale in the face).
In other ‘dos, son Kingston (nearly 7 months) is now sporting a baby ‘hawk, otherwise known as The Maddox. Wouldn’t it be ironic if Angelina Jolie’s son became the Jennifer Aniston of hair for the youth generation, launching trends carried out in Fantastic Sams and Supercuts across the land?
The blond-streaked boytail can only be next.

The mohawk isn't hurting your child, I personally wouldn't do it to my almost 3 yr old. Now, for Gwen, get rid of that roll on your head...you look so much prettier with a natural look!! Whoever wrote about Brittney, look at your own life with your child(ren), you have never messed up? You just don't have your life all over the media like Brittney. Before she got "into" Paris, I think she was trying to be a great mom (minus the whole front seat ordeal). Don't knock any mom that takes care of her child. Look at your own life w/ your kid before you start knockin' someone elses.

Personally, I would NEVER do that to my child but that's just my style. When they grow up, of course they will have their own style but I would hope for their own sake they wouldn't do it. If your aren't a celebrity then you look like a Hot Topic employee.

Their babies, have fun with the hair while you can. Cut it, spike it, who cares. Soon their grown so let their love bond however. I have 3 sons and its fun to get a little crazy and be a rebel. Kingstons so sweet he can pull off any style.

I don't think giving a kid a mohawk is a big deal. I happen to think it looks cute, just my two cents. But to vehemently post its WRONG! IT LOOKS HORRIBLE!, is a little dramatic people. Its just hair. It may be a slow news day, but US magazine will put up any story to get people posting.

her baby is so darn cute! I think they are a beautiful family. However, it makes you wonder if her and gavin were doing some kinky stuff with the whole "hole in her roll" thing..weird. But i was thinkin about sending her a can of whipped cream to fill it with. it looked like a cream horn. lol

It doesn't look like she cut his hair into that style, just kind of brushed it up. I did that with my son all the time when he was a baby. Besides, unlike other celeb moms out there, she is actually with her son, so let's give her credit for that instead of how she styles his hair.

Gwen is "freak of nature" beautiful! I think she looks beautiful with pink, blue, platinum hair. And she can style her baby's hair however she wants, do you think our parents thought twice about putting us in plaid bell-bottoms and coolats? It's the style, and he'll look back and laugh at it too.

I think mohawks on kids are adorable. I did it to my son's hair when he was a couple of months old. It's nothing permanent. Maddox & Kingston are too cute!
