With a Grey's Anatomy spinoff (starring Kate Walsh as Dr. Addison) set to debut on ABC in about two weeks, viewers will have to decide which of her co-stars to salivate over, Taye Diggs, 36, or The Nine's Tim Daly, 51. Uh yeah I love her character, but that show is going to bomb and be canceled. Spinoffs are hardly ever a good idea. No biggie for her though they'll just take her back onto Grey's and patch things up between her and Karev.

Two head-shots of Taye Diggs and Tim Daly - your projected heart-throbs du jour - do not make a 'news item'.

The answer to your baffling question is not in an on-line fight about 'who's the hottest' - Taye or Tim. If Shonda Rhimes produces comparable smart scripts and well-written characters for Private Practice, and then if she is able to assemble another great ensemble cast, we'll all get to pick our favorite flawed physician.

Seriously. Don't go there. US is way out of its league.
