Attorney Gloria Allred has produced her mystery witness in the Federline v. Spears custody case, a former Brit bodyguard, Tony Barretto.
Allred and Barretto held a press conference moments ago outside of a Los Angeles courtroom where they appeared today to see if Barretto would testify in the former couple's custody battle.
Allred told reporters:
"Today we came to court with a key and secret witness in the Britney Spears/Kevin Federline custody battle. Our client's name is Tony Barretto. He was employed as a bodyguard for Ms. Spears from the time she came out of rehab until May 17th. During that time he was in her home on a full time basis, drove Ms. Spears to various appointments and observed her behavior inside of her home, outside of her home and around her children."
During that time he became very concerned about the children and their safety. Though he was reluctant to come forward amd become embroiled in her custody dispute he decided to do so because of his concern about the safety and well being of the children. He is a father of young children himself.
"We are shocked that Ms. Spears' attorneys chose not to cross examine our client as to the substance of his declaration. Our client was prepared to testify on issues of nudity by Ms Spears, drug use and safety issues involving the children post rehab."
Earlier today, Spears' attorney Laura Wasser filed papers with the court to remove herself from the case. Marci Levine will represent Spears moving forward in her custody battle with ex Federline.

12:09 i can understand as a mother why this issue would confuse you on one hand you feel like a responsible parent because you don't leave your child unattended but at the same time now the world views you as some pediphile for showering with a 4 yr old who is by far to old to be naked in a shower with an adult..when my children got to old to shower with i just timed my showers for a different time..good luck with all that.

Sometimes I shower with my 4 year old son.. usually if we both need a shower after returning from outside and no one is around to watch him while I shower...
I've never thought of it as illegal... I mean, eventually he will be showering with other men whether it be in the locker room at school, the ymca, bible camp, or prison, right?
Since when can the law interfere with what you do in your own house?

If this bodyguard was really concerned for her kids, he would've gone to social services, who were already involved, instead of a high price celebrity attorney.

It's kinda sad that the public knows so much about Britney and her troubles. They say don't believe everything you read but obviously it's as bad as it seems in her case. Most child stars don't know how to grow up because their parents are greedy and think that a 10 year old knows what is best for them. Look at her now, her kids could be taken from her, doesn't she know that she could've just paid someone to take care of them like all of the other celebrities. Why do people think it is beyond the realm of possibility that Britney could be a bad mom? Just because she has money and is famous doesn't make her an automatic good person.

She's followed everywhere she goes, so WHERE did she get the drugs (she supposedly used?) AND what if she walks around her house half naked (her children are toddlers, IT'S HER F*** HOUSE, maybe she's a nudist, is that illegal!) I have seen pictures of celebrities (Cindy crawford, Pamela Anderson), lounging on their yachts, or on their friend's yachts, and they were topless (and their children were also on board). I didn't see anyone calling CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES ON THEM!!! If this fat f*** was so concerned about what was going on in the house, why DID HE NOT report what he saw to CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICE. As for the drug use, it would explain her behaviour....the paranoia, the loose cannon behaviour....the dazed look on her face on stage at the VMA's. Even the most diehard fan must admit there's something wrong with Britney. For some reason she's incapable of even faking that she has her Sh*t together. If you look at her objectively you have to wonder, if this is the behavior we are witnessing, what are earth is she doing behind closed doors. Nudity in front of your kids is not an issue. But if she is displaying even a hint of sexual behavior while naked, then someone should intervene. As for Shar, she seems like a responsible parent. Finally Gloria is the worst, but she rarely takes on cases that she doesn't win. And if the bodyguard told her the kids are in danger, she obligated to call DCFS, but not the press. She's a smart publicity wh***. For that reason Britney should be afraid.

5:44 - his relationship with Britney doesn't have anything to do with Shar getting (or not getting) child support. Britney's income wouldn't be factored into the amount that Shar received from Kevin. I know. I practice family/child custody law.

This witness was there in case Spear's attorney wanted to cross examine him. For some reason they chose not to.
I don;t think the issue is her nudity, or a lor of people would lose their kids. The issue is her drug use, alcohol use, and the safety hazards the kids face as a result of those things and her poor choices.

Gloria is always the lawyer in cases that involve high publicity speculation. Spice Girl and Eddie Murphy. Why was the guy there anyways if he had already entered his deposition like the rest of the witnesses.
Oh, Kevin unemployed loser Federline claims someone tried to kill him but the LAPD and FBI have no evidence of this and have denied it. He claims this after he files for custody of the kids and it's funny how he files for custody after the divorce is settled and he gets to keep everything she bought him and pays him more money for a quick divorce. Her prenup has good, he wouldn't have received so much money and he wouldn't have kept all his toys. His lawyers are smart and he is a loser, why is he trying to get custody of these kids, I never heard him talk about his other kids, he doesn't even share custody of those kids. Why doesn't he want custody of all his kids?
