Dr. Phil is not qualified to treat anyone. He has no license in any state in America and used Oprah's political contacts in Illinois to void professional allegations when he began his show. The greater problem is that with Dr. Phil's boundary issues, how long will it take it before his "cure" is the same solution that caused him to lose his license in Texas. Texas precludes him from seeing patients in Texas. Dr. Phil apparently chose not to regain his license because it meant he would have to comply with professional ethics that preclude licensed professional from sleeping with their patients.
