David Hasselhoff and ex-wife Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff were in an L.A. court Monday for a hearing to address whether Hasselhoff, who earlier this month was banned from seeing his daughters, Hayley, 16, and Taylor, 14, would again be granted custody. Though a gag order was in place when the court was let out this afternoon, the AP reports that prior to the hearing, Hasselhoff’s lawyer Melvin Goldsman disclosed that his client’s visitation rights had been restored.

Afterwards, though no details were released other than an additional court date set for June 1, both camps seemed pleased. Upon his exit, Hasselhoff, 54, told Us, “It went very well. The truth was told and I can’t say anything more.” Meanwhile, Bach-Hasselhoff's attorney, Debra Opri, said: “We’re happy. We can’t say anything more. We’re coming
back June 1.”

Custody of the former couple's children was called into question when a video of the Baywatch star drunk and unable to eat a hamburger surfaced on May 3rd. On May 7th, a judge suspended Hasselhoff's visitation rights. Usmagazine.com has learned that the tape will be included as evidence when the case returns to court on June 1.

Court case aside, Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff told Us last week that her daughters "absolutely love their father. They just want him to get better." She added, "I want him to get help and get healthy. And when he's able to have a healthy, loving relationship with the girls on a consistent basis, I want him to share custody."
