Soccer sensation David Beckham, born May 2, 1975, became a pop culture icon after numerous U.K. successes on the field and for his chiseled good looks. Beckham began his professional athletic career with British soccer team Manchester United in 1992 when he was 17. In July 2007, the soccer stud signed a five-year, $250 million deal to play for the L.A. Galaxy soccer team and uprooted his family to America to continue his sporting career. Married to Spice Girl wife Victoria "Posh" Adams since 1999, the duo are a true paparazzi obsession. Together they have three sons: Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, and in July 2007 moved into their $22-million home in Beverly Hills, Calif.
