Britney Spears seems “a little fearful” but is “doing the do,” according to Spears' rehab compatriot Daniel Baldwin, 46, who says he’s 97 days sober and recently ran into the pop princess in Malibu.
“I told her if she needed anything or if she wanted me to bring anything to her where she’s at, I’d be happy to come see her,” Baldwin told Usmagazine.com Sunday at the "Night of 100 Stars" pre-Oscar party at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
“She’s doing great; she looks great,” added Baldwin, saying he gave Brit his number after running into her two days ago in Malibu.
“She seemed like she was a little fearful,” he continued. “I mean, she’s a young girl – I have kids older than her. I think that she knows that she needs some help, and God bless her. All we can do is pray. That’s what I want people to do: Pray for her.”
Baldwin, who was arrested in April on charges of being under the influence and carrying cocaine paraphernalia, said he left Brit with simple advice: “Don’t drink. Don’t use.”
“It’s really simple,” he said. “One thing I mentioned to her is if you took a look at how much effort you put into going out – at least for me – going out and using and doing the things we do, compared to how much effort you need to do to stay sober, it’s infinitesimal on a comparison basis.”
We hope Britney understands what that means, because we don’t.
Another thing we don't understand: Isn't it a violation of the Anonymous part AA to blab about Brit's mental well-being in rehab?

Maybe she'll get the help she needs and maybe she won't but how dare anyone judge ...are we all so perfect? Not that I care that much about britney herself (genuwinly because i've never met, I don't know her personally) FLOYDFANATIC111 seems kind of sick. I mean he/she is really Obsessesing about britney. Its one thing to comment but this guy/gal is scary... he/she "prayed for her demise from day one". I'm just warning, this person seems like he needs help if he lets one person whom he never talks to or has to listen effect his emotion to such an extreme (britney), then imagine if you talk back to him how much he'll hate you, maybe try and find you and kill you. No matter how much you may agree or desagree with this person, he sound a little bit dangerous.

for all you folks who claim she is such a terrible mother and you don't feel sorry for her then, feel sorry for yourselves. What ever she is going through I am sure has something to do with how much she is horrassed for no reason at all, other than she famous. Plus, she has been pregnant for the pass 2 years. That can take a toll on woman's physcal and emotionial self (lots of hormonal changes that make you blue) not to mention a divorce immediately following. How dare people judge a person so harshley who they've never even met. Her children are safe (because if they weren't of course we'd here about it) and she is trying to take care of herself. I believe she deserves for people to lay off of her.

Honestly it sucks for her kids. I dont feel one bit sorry for her. She wrecked a home kevin and shar when shar was still pregnant. Yeah he is as much to blame becuase he is a piece of garbage but shes just as guilty as he is. She's been a train wreck hiding behind "im a wholesome country girl" she comes up with chaotic chaos.. whatever shows shes a bit out there. No ones prepped to be a parent BUT there are sacrifices that one has to make to be a parent, whatever shes going thru comes secondary to the children who need her because those kids cant do what they need to on their own, and they didnt ask to be brought into this world. Everything thats happend if you ask me is KARMA in the works. She gets the one guy who everyone sees is a clear moron/genius a genius because he milked her for all she was worth and it was so obvious and an idiot because hes a low life. But the reality is looking at it now shes managed to make him look like the good parent.. thats just as crazy as she is..

The woman is a basket case and was on a road to madness. She was the one who wanted to be rich and famous and having the paps comes with the territory. If she doesn't like the paps then move to Abu Dhabi, the Himalayas or Greenland as the paps won't be there. I know this as I grew up in a drug and alcohol infested house. My older sister had two kids and didn't have post-partum depression after having child #2. My mom had three kids back to back in 1967, 1968 and 1969 and she didn't have any problems until her first husband died in 1972 whilst carrying my second older brother in womb. Then she reunited with my dad whom had two kids with a lady who abandoned her babies to join a religious group. Then when my mom and dad got married, she had my older brother and I in 1975 and 1976 respectively and both my parents were abusing drugs and alcohol, it was the 1970s. My dad quit booze and drugs in 1978 and smoking in 1984 whilst my mom continued to abuse and that was what destroyed my family and I went to live with my dad.
I saw what drugs and booze did, it destroyed my family plus many of my heroes (Hendrix, Moon, Bonham, Panozzo)! My second older brother has struggled with drugs and booze since he was 15 and he finally was scared straight when he went to jail. My oldest and third older brothers are alcoholics. Then all of my sisters drank or abused drugs. I can't cos of my autism.
I don't feel sorry for this c*nt, she deserves all of the bad luck! SEE YOU IN HELL B*TCH!

Many people who went into rehab eventually re-lapsed. Motley Crue for instance got sober after Nikki Sixx OD'd in 1987 and then threw sobriety out for booze and sex by the mid-1990s. Ozzy relapsed many times until he attempted to strangle Sharon in 1989 (I wished he did) and was forced to sober up (been free of drugs since 1991). Keith Moon attempted to dry out before his death and died from an accidental barbituate overdose. Stevie Nicks went to rehab for cocaine in 1986 and then was hooked on anti-depressant pills until the mid-1990s (she's been completely drug free since 1995 and quit smoking in 1997 and her voice got better). Eddie Van Halen quit drinking in 1994 then relapsed in the early 2000s and is now a shell of his former self. Only time will tell with James Hetfield of Metallica. Daniel Baldwin, will relapse yet again. Danny Bonaduce, perfect example of being sober then relapsing back into booze.
Some celebs/musicians have successfully remained sober after completing initial rehab programs (Aerosmith (clean since 1986), Linda Blair (drug and alcohol free since 1978), Tommy Shaw (cold turkeyed using drugs in the mid to late 1980s), Rob Halford (clean and sober since 1986), Peter Criss (got his act together in the 1980s), Malcolm Young of AC/DC (been sober since 1988), Simon Kirke of Bad Company (sobered in 1995) and a few others). Any others I left out let me know.
This Hollywood rehab is a vacation spot and not a rehab. A real rehab is going into the mountains where you have to do work like cut trees, hunt for food and so on as a real rehab.
The Baldwins are HAS-BEENS! Daniel is a B-movie actor who was not in any Hollywood blockbuster. Alec is washed up and was only famous for marrying Kim Basinger. William is married to Chynna Phillips.

Please remember that she has been verbally attacked by anyone and everyone and she always had class and never said anything bad about anybody. Please stop all the hating!! She doesn't deserve it. She is in need of help and we owe it to her as a basic human right to give it to her. Please pray for Britney.

Please join me in praying for Britney. She clearly needs help and the only way we can all help her is by praying for her. We don't know if it's post-partum depression or something else. Whatever it is, it is serious. Shaving her head was a clear sign that she wants help. We don't want her to lose her children or worse!
Let's also pray that the paparazzi will LEAVE HER ALONE!!!

What part of it don't you get? It's a pretty common sentiment around AA -- when you think of all the time and effort you wasted getting drunk and high, and compare it to the time and effort you need to put into staying sober (going to meetings, working the steps, etc), the latter takes way, way less time than the former. That's all.
