Ciara has been tapped as the new face of Jay-Z's Rocawear line for women.
The 21-year-old "Goodies" singer celebrated Wednesday night at a small, intimate dinner at Buddakan in NYC with Rocawear co-founder Jay-Z, rapper Young Jeezy, photographer Mark Seliger, who will shoot the ads, and stylist June Ambrose.
The new campaign, which debuts this fall, is entitled, "I Will Not Lose” and will also feature video testimonials by individuals who have overcome various hardships.
Amy Steele, the editor-in-chief of the Virginia Tech newspaper Collegiate Times, is just one of the participants who will be profiled and share her story in the campaign.
"I love Rocawear,” Ciara tells Usmagazine.com. “The clothes are so cute. The stuff is great. I am so happy to be able to do the campaign."
Adds June Ambrose, author of the new book Effortless Style, who is styling the shoot: “Ciara looks amazing in the clothes and they all fit her perfectly."

First of all almost all rock n rollers are coked out in some point of their lives. Don't do anything positive. At least Jay-Z has something to fall back on. Ciara is smokin and Jay- Z knows it. Ciara looks and figure fits that of a model! Beyonce doesn't, and I'm not sure she was being that honest about all that weight she lost either. Her @ss was chunky @ss hell! All that stuff she said sounded good, but I still have my reservations about that. It sounds like some off the chain anorexic stuff to me. As far Jay-Z being ugly, if he is as charismatic as I believe he is he will be o.k! Ciara's humbleness I believe is gonna take her very far in the business.
