A letter containing white powder that authorities feared might be anthrax was sent to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, The London Evening Standard reported on Thursday, February 22.

Per the British paper, the envelope — which is believed to have contained a racist message — was intercepted before it reached the future royal, 36, and Harry, 33, at Kensington Palace.

“The Metropolitan Police Force is investigating an allegation of malicious communications that occurred on Monday which relates to a suspicious package,” a police spokesperson told Us Weekly on Thursday. “The substance has been tested and confirmed as non-suspicious. No arrests have been made at this time, however inquiries continue.”

The London Evening Standard reports the palace is now on high alert before the couple’s May 19 wedding at Windsor Castle, but there are no plans to change any details.

With just three months to go before the big day, Harry and the former Suits actress are in full-on planning mode. Kensington Palace announced on February 11 that the wedding service will start at noon at St. Georges’s Chapel, with the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, officiating the marriage vows.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds will take a carriage ride through Windsor town back to the castle. According to the palace, the couple “hope this short journey will provide an opportunity for people to come together and around Windsor and to enjoy the atmosphere of this special day.”

The reception will be held at St. George’s Hall and will be followed by a private reception for close friends and family hosted by Harry’s father, Prince Charles.
