Lindsay Lohan Breaks Her Silence on Fight With Fiance Egor Tarabasov: ‘No Woman Can Be Hit and Stay With That Person’

Lindsay Lohan finally broke her silence about her fiancé Egor Tarabasov’s allegedly violent behavior in a new interview, and the former child star appeared to be heartbroken over the messy turn of events.

“I realize now you can’t stay in a relationship just for love,” she told the Mail on Sunday of the pair’s public disputes. “No woman can be hit and stay with that person if that person isn’t prepared to say sorry.”

Images of Lohan, 30, and Tarabasov, 23, have recently surfaced, showing the pair in a physical tussle on a beach in Mykonos in early July. In the telling images, the Mean Girls star can be seen throwing the Russian billionaire’s phone out of their car and then making a break for the beach.

Tarabasov quickly catches up with Lohan and can be seen grabbing and twisting her arms behind her back as she struggles to get free. “Egor drank too much and he went crazy,” she said of his behavior that day.

Later that month, Lohan made headlines after she got into a loud argument with Tarabasov at their London apartment on July 23, culminating in her screaming from the balcony: “Please, please, please. He just strangled me. He almost killed me. Everybody will know. Get out of my house! Do it. I dare you again. You’re f–king crazy. You sick f–k.”

Police were called to the couple’s apartment, but no one was charged in the incident.

“Officers attended and, following concerns for the welfare of the occupants inside, forced entry into the address,” a police spokesperson told Us Weekly. “There was no one inside but enquiries were made and the occupants were traced and found to be safe and well.”

“Egor and I had been out for dinner. We danced, it was fun,” she recounted. “When we got home I went to bed and Egor went out. A few hours later he came back and when I woke up he was standing over me. He wasn’t himself, he was being very aggressive and he attacked me.”

“There have been so many lies printed about me recently,” she continued. “I’ve kept quiet for so long but now I’m scared of what Egor might do to me and to himself.”

Last week, a source told Us that the estranged couple are still hoping to iron out their issues“They are working on their relationship,” the source said, “and are both committed to making it work.”
