It’s safe to say Wiz Khalifa’s house is the pad of choice for playdates. The rapper, who is dad of 5-year-old Sebastian, designed his $16,000 per month L.A. rental with the little boy in mind. “There was a lot of room for my son,” the musician, 30, told ArchDigest.com on Monday, July 16. “I wanted to make sure he could run around and have a good time.”
The six-bedroom mansion comes complete with several recreational rooms just for Sebastian. One is dubbed the “Imagination Station” while another is devoted solely to children’s books. “The majority of the space in my house is for him, so the more areas where he can have to do his thing the better,” Khalifa, who shares Sebastian with ex-wife Amber Rose, explained.
Sebastian can draw with chalk on the driveway or ride around in his collection of kid-size cars including a 57 Impala, Range Rover and Ghost Rolls Royce.
The artist himself has a cool collection of vehicles — low-riders and muscle cars — in his garage. When he and Rose, 34, were still dating she bought him a 1962 Impala. “My baby’s mama actually bought me this because I was mad at her, and she wanted me to not be mad at her,” he revealed, “So she bought me a car.”
Khalifa and the model were married from 2013 to 2014 but remain friends despite a tumultuous split. “We both love our son, so it just comes easy,” Rose told Us Weekly in November 2017. “We don’t live that far away from each other, so anytime Sebastian wants to come back here or go with his dad he can. We FaceTime each other a lot . . . We talk to him every day regardless of where he is.”
