Tia Mowry is a mom — again! The Sister, Sister alum welcomed her second child, a girl, with her husband Cory Hardrict, Us Weekly can confirm.
Mowry, 39, announced her child’s arrival on Sunday, May 6, with an adorable Instagram photo of herself holding her newborn in her arms. “’Feeling grateful and blessed as we welcome our little baby girl into the world!’ Born May 5th at 10:29 am at 6 pounds and 4 Oz 19.8 inches 💕 We are in heaven 🙏🏽,” she captioned the snap.
Hardrict posted a selfie at the hospital on Saturday, May 5, as his wife was in labor. “Grown man Tears,” he captioned the pic that showed him in a hospital cap and mask with tears under his eyes. “Baby girl is near Prayers Up.”
Mowry announced her pregnancy in November via Instagram. She shared an adorable family photo of Hardrict, 37, and her 6-year-old son Cree kissing her baby bump.
The Whole New You author shared a gender reveal video on her YouTube page, Tia Mowry’s Quick Fix, on January 12. She started the video by giving her followers some ideas on how to announce their own baby’s gender. At the end of the tutorial, she used a cake pop to announce if she was having a boy or a girl.
“Now for the moment we’ve all been waiting for — MY gender reveal. Let’s find out!” the actress said before biting into the sweet treat, and showing it was pink on the inside. “We’re having a girl! Cree is going to have a baby sister. We are so excited!”
Mowry opened up exclusively to Us Weekly in August 2017 about expanding her family. “I definitely want Cree to have either a brother or a sister,” she said at the time. “It’s just all about timing and if it’s God’s will. My husband and I live such a crazy, busy life.”
The Game alum and the American Snipper actor dated for eight years before tying the knot in April 2008. The couple then renewed their vows in Malibu in April 2013 after they welcomed their first child.
