Joy-Anna, who gave birth to her son Gideon in February, explains, “During my pregnancy I was always open to advice and ways I could prepare myself for the birth and just being a new mom.” As for the top tips she got? “Some of the best advice I received is just to rest before the baby gets here because once the baby is here, you’re not going to get rest for a while until he’s on a schedule,” she adds. She and husband Austin Forsyth tied the knot in in May, 2017.

She’s been looking up to her sisters Jill and Jessa when it comes to raising a boy saying, “I’ve seen their consistency and diligence and I can apply those things to my life and into my parenting.”

Jinger, who is still expecting, is on the same page as Joy-Anna, telling Us, “If you need to take a nap or lay down in the middle of the day, don’t feel bad.” She also explains that she talked to her sisters about what they did to get through morning sickness and how to deal with her nausea.

Kendra, who revealed in December that she’s pregnant, said that her mother has been offering her the most advice along with her husband Joe’s sisters. She notes that going through her pregnancy with Joy-Anna and Jinger has been helpful saying, “It’s been a really unique experience in that we’re getting to share all of the different changes that our bodies are going through and can talk about them and encourage each other. It’s definitely been nice.”
