Under arrest for being too cute! Meghan King Edmonds’ 19-month-old daughter, Aspen, accidentally phoned 911 on Tuesday, June 19.
The toddler’s dad, Jim Edmonds, shared the hilarious blunder on Instagram Story. In the photo, Aspen is seen holding a smartphone. “Police at the door at 730 . . .” wrote the former professional baseball player. “How is it possible for her to hit these numbers perfectly???”
He added: “Great parenting.”
Chalk it up to sleep deprivation! The Real Housewives of Orange County alum, 33, and Jim, 47, welcomed twin boys Hayes and Hart on June 6. Meghan, who has mastered breast-feeding both babies at the same time, had a natural birth without any pain medication.
Meghan gushed about her “incredible” husband in a June 14 blog post. “Jimmy will do everything from make me breakfast, refill my water, hold babies, feed babies, help me put on my underwear — well, this was in the hospital but he did it!” she wrote. “There’s a special place in heaven for that man. Some of you reading this might think ‘Well those are all things a husband is supposed to do’ and he’d probably say the same, but surely doesn’t mean I can’t be thankful for him and all he’s done.”
Indeed, life is good for the Edmonds family. “We are all settling in better than I anticipated: Aspen is a little lover of her baby brothers,” Meghan shared. “I feel settled in my home life and I’m experiencing a feeling of peace didn’t feel after I had Aspen. The love story has begun.”
