She’s pregnant! Joy-Anna Forsyth (née Duggar) and her husband, Austin Forsyth, are expecting their second baby, the couple exclusively reveal to Us Weekly.
“Our favorite math is addition and we are very excited to share that the Forsyth family is adding a member!” the Counting On stars told Us on Wednesday, May 1. “Marriage and being a mom and dad to Gideon has already far exceeded our expectations. We are looking forward to loving another little one and seeing what special dynamic he or she brings to our family. Table for 4 sounds perfect!”
Michelle Duggar and Jim Bob Duggar congratulated the couple on the family’s website. “The Bible is right, there is no greater JOY than seeing your children walk in truth,” the couple wrote. “We have loved watching Austin and Joy build their lives together as a married couple and as parents. Their love for God, each other, Gideon, and others is genuine and inspiring. We could not be more thankful as we watch their lives unfold day by day. A new baby will bring even more joy and blessings to their lives and ours. We are on cloud nine that another grandbaby will make a debut in 2019!”
Austin, 25, and Joy-Anna, 21, who announced their exciting news on Instagram, are already parents of 14-month-old son, Gideon. The little one arrived in February 2018, six months after the couple’s pregnancy announcement.
“We’re so happy and thankful to announce that we’re expecting a baby. Every child is such a precious gift from God,” the new mom, 21, told Us in a statement at the time. “I’m most looking forward to watching Austin as a dad and raising children together with him. I have a lot of good memories of my mom teaching us and the quality time we spent together, and I’m really looking forward to doing that with my own children. It’s such an amazing thing to be a parent and raise children!”
Austin added: “I’m really looking forward to the journey of this pregnancy and all the different stages it will bring. It’s really exciting and I feel so blessed to be a dad! We are beyond thankful!”
The reality stars are far from the only members of the Duggar family who will be adding another baby to their brood this year.
Us broke the news on Friday, April 26, that Anna Duggar (née Keller) and Josh Duggar are expecting their sixth child. Jessa Seewald (née Duggar), meanwhile, is pregnant with her third child with Ben Seewald, while Joe Duggar and Kendra Duggar (née Caldwell) have their second little one on the way.
Their cousin, Amy King (née Duggar), though, is expecting her very first child with her husband, Dillon King. The Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars alum, who tied the knot in September 2015, announced their baby news on Easter.
