Glee alum Harry Shum Jr. revealed in an Instagram post on Sunday, November 11, that his wife, Shelby Rabara, is pregnant with their first child.
The Crazy Rich Asians actor, 36, shared a photo of his wife looking surprised with her hands to her face while Shum was hidden behind her, with his hands on her baby bump. He didn’t add a caption, letting the photo, which was taken under a tree covered with pink blossoms, speak for itself.
Rabara, 35, also posted pics from the same photo shoot on her Instagram account, sharing one in profile with her hand resting on her growing belly as she wore a long navy dress topped with a tropical-print duster, while a second photo showed Shum standing behind his wife.
The Shadowhunters star, who plays Magnus Bane in the Freeform fantasy series, and the dancer and actress wed in his native Costa Rica in November 2015 at a beautiful ceremony attended by Shum’s former Glee costars Amber Riley, Jenna Ushkowitz and Kevin McHale.
The pair, who began dating in 2006, announced their engagement in March 2014, five months after Shum proposed while they were on vacation in Hawaii.
Shum’s former Glee costar Heather Morris was among the first to congratulate the parents-to-be. The mom of two commented with “I KNEW IT!!!” on his Instagram post.
The couple are set to celebrate their third wedding anniversary later this month.
