William, 35, and Kate, 36, announced in September that they were expecting another little bundle of joy. The couple, who wed in April 2011, are also the parents of Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 2.

The duchess was forced to go public with the news sooner than she originally planned due to her battle with hyperemesis gravidarum, the same acute morning sickness she suffered during her first two pregnancies.

“They’ve known for a while and didn’t particularly want to announce it before the 12-week mark, but due to having to cancel an engagement … they thought it was best to be honest about the situation,” a source told Us Weekly exclusively at the time. “She suffers terribly in these early weeks, but she has a great medical team and a fantastic support system.”

After spending some time focusing on her health, Kate debuted her baby bump in a blue Temperley London dress at a World Mental Health Day reception at Buckingham Palace on October 10. She continued to step out in the months that followed.

“[She is] enjoying her later months of pregnancy and feeling great,” a source told Us exclusively in December. “It’s amazing what a difference the later trimesters feel like compared to the early days, which she really struggled with more than ever this time.”

And it helped that Kate’s future sister-in-law, Meghan Markle, was by her side through it all. “She shares tips she’s read about healthy eating,” a source told Us of the Suits alum, who is set to marry Prince Harry in May.

William was equally doting. “[He] does all he can to make sure she’s comfortable,” the insider added. “He just wants her to feel supported.”
