Big step! Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s 9-month-old son, Miles, is “so close” to saying his first word.
The Lip Sync Battle cohost, 33, shared a video with her Instagram followers on Friday, February 22, of her baby boy babbling in a white onesie. His hair was slicked to the side as he was bounced up and down. “Say, ‘Dada,’” the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model told him.
“YAAAAAAAAS so close!” she captioned the adorable footage.
Miles wasn’t the only baby in Teigen’s brood that she showed off on Instagram. That same day, the two-time mom posted a video with her 2-year-old daughter, Luna. The mother-daughter pair sat on a couch together with a Little Feminist board book.
As the toddler flipped the pages, wearing her signature Disney princess dress, Teigen told her the names of the women featured in the book — Maya Angelou and Ella Fitzgerald — and Luna tried her best to pronounce them.
“Do you want to read again?” she asked her mom at the end of the video. “Read it to me.”
Teigen and Legend, 40, who tied the knot in 2013, started their family three years later when they welcomed Luna. Miles arrived in May 2018.
The pair introduced their son to the world four days after he was born. “Hello, world! This is Miles Theodore Stephens – We are drowning in his little peeps and nuzzles,” Teigen captioned an Instagram pic of the newborn sleeping on her. “Our household feels overwhelmed with love. Thank you for all your well wishes!”
Now he and his older sister are “finally playing together,” the Cravings author revealed earlier this month. She posted a video on social media of her little ones sitting on a blanket with a toy.
“Open and shut,” Luna told her little brother, then showed him how to tap on the top like a drum. “Give me your hand, Miles.”
