Prepare to be creeped out!
Halloween may now be just a memory as we close out the year, but there is one makeup artist that is keeping the holiday spirit alive on Instagram. With over 50,000 followers on the social media site, Filipino makeup artist Jan Bonito spends his days beautifying clients at the Ergun Tercan European Salon in Denver, Colorado, and his nights transforming into the characters of American Horror Story.
"I was inspired to do my transformations this past Halloween," he tells Us Weekly. "American Horror Story is my favorite show, and it was Halloween, so I thought it was a great idea to transform into one of the characters."
One character, however, quickly expanded to many of the freakish personalities from the FX series. "When my first transformation became a success with my friends on Facebook and Instagram, I decided to keep going," he told Us. "I never expected this to blow up. I was just having fun entertaining my small following at the time, so I'm very grateful for everything."
So far, Bonito has nailed down Jessica Lange's character with lots of heavy contour, a head wrap, and a cigarette.
Angela Bassett's character Marie Laveau's glare of steel with a bold red lip and high cheekbones was also recreated.
For his first male transformation, Bonito recreated Evan Peters' look with his now-famous furrowed brows.
He took a stab at Patti LaBelle's character on AHS: Freak Show with arched eyebrows and heavy contouring.
Jyoti Amge's look was amazingly done with a huge smile, a bindi, and heavy eye makeup.
