
Luke Perry
Luke Perry was born October 11, 1966 in Mansfield, Ohio. After high school, Perry moved to LA to pursue acting, working odd jobs to support himself. His first roles were in soap operas Loving and Another World.
He first gained notoriety for playing the role of Dylan McKay in Fox’s hit drama Beverly Hills, 90210. The role, which he maintained from 1990 to 1995 alongside other projects, turned him into a national teen idol.
Perry also starred in Joss Whedon’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer, HBO drama Oz, and Will & Grace. He appeared in stage plays in New York and London, and had a career revival from 2017 to 2019, when he appeared in Riverdale and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
The actor was married to actress Rachel Sharp from 1993 to 2003. They had two children together, son Jack and daughter Sophie. Perry died from a stroke in on February 27th, 2019. At the time, he was engaged to actress-turned-therapist and partner of 11 years, Wendy Madison Bauer.
