Lucy Hale

Lucy Hale is an actress and singer best known for playing Aria Montgomery on Pretty Little Liars. Hale spent her childhood in Memphis, Tennessee, and was homeschooled as a child while pursuing an entertainment career. She moved to Los Angeles at age 15 in hopes of pursuing music full time, later going on to compete on the reality singing competition American Juniors in 2003.

Hale began her career landing guest roles on series including Drake & Josh, The O.C. and How I Met Your Mother. Her breakthrough came in 2010 when she was cast as Aria Montgomery on Pretty Little Liars, a role she played until the show’s conclusion in 2017. The series made her a fan favorite and helped launch her career as a leading actress. She also starred in short-lived series including Life Sentence, Katy Keene and Ragdoll.

Hale has appeared on the big screen in films including Truth or Dare (2018), Fantasy Island (2020), The Hating Game (2021) and Puppy Love (2023). She released her debut country album, Road Between, in 2014.

Hale has been linked to several high-profile figures over the years, including David Henrie, Chris Zylka, Anthony Kalabretta, Riley Smith and Skeet Ulrich. In 2025, she moved on with Harry Jowsey.
