Jensen Ackles

Born in Dallas, Texas, on March 1, 1978, Jensen Ackles is an actor best known for his starring roles in Days of Our Lives and Supernatural.

Ackles began modeling at age 4, but by age 18, he shifted his focus to acting. After joining Days of Our Lives in the late ’90s, he won a Soap Opera Digest Award for Best Male Newcomer and was later nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award.

After appearing in the final season of Dawson’s Creek, Ackles joined the cast of another hit TV show, Smallville. From 2005 to 2020, he played demon hunter Dean Winchester on The CW’s Supernatural. He reunited with Supernatural creator Eric Kripke for Prime Video’s The Boys season 3 in 2022.

In addition to his TV work, Ackles’ film credits include Ten Inch Hero and My Bloody Valentine 3D.

Ackles began dating One Tree Hill actress Danneel Harris in 2006. The actors tied the knot on May 15, 2010, in Ackles’ hometown. They welcomed a daughter, Justice Jay, on May 30, 2013. Their twins, daughter Arrow Rhodes and son Zeppelin Bram, were born on December 2, 2016.
