Jeffrey Dean Morgan

Jeffrey Dean Morgan was born April 22, 1966 in Seattle, Washington. He first pursued basketball, playing at Skagit Valley college in Mount Vernon, Washington, but left school after a leg injury. He then moved to Los Angeles.

In the 90s, Morgan had his first roles on movies like Uncaged and TV shoes like The Burning Zone. He gained notoriety in 2005 and 2006, when he appeared on CW’s Supernatural, ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy, and Showtime’s Weeds.

He went on star in several popular fils and shows, including The Resident, Watchmen, Shameless, The Good Wife, The Walking Dead, and more.

Morgan had a seven-year marriage with actress Anya Longwell, which ended in 2003. He was engaged to Weeds costar Mary Louise Parker, but the two called off the engagement in 2008. The actor started dating actress Hilarie Burton in 2009 and the couple married October of 2019. Together they have one daughter, born February 2018.
