Jana Kramer

Jana Kramer is an actress and country singer best known for playing Alex Dupre on One Tree Hill and for her music career. Kramer spent her childhood in Rochester Hills, Michigan, where she attended Rochester Adams High School. After graduating in 2002, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting full-time.

Kramer made her acting debut in the 2002 independent film Dead/Undead before landing recurring roles on shows including Friday Night Lights, 90210 and Entourage. She joined One Tree Hill in 2009 as Alex Dupre, which helped raise her profile and provided an early platform for her music. Throughout her career, she has also appeared on the big screen in films including Support the Girls (2018), The Holiday Fix Up (2021) and 72 Hours (2024).

Kramer went on to pivot to music, releasing her self-titled debut album in 2012. Her second album, Thirty One, arrived in 2015 and included the fan favorite “I Got the Boy.” The following year, she competed on season 23 of Dancing With the Stars in 2016, finishing fourth with Gleb Savchenko. She also hosts the “Whine Down with Jana Kramer” podcast.

Kramer has been married four times. She wed Michael Gambino in 2004 and Johnathon Schaech in 2010 before marrying former NFL player Mike Caussin in 2015. Kramer and Caussin share daughter Jolie Rae (born in 2016) and son Jace Joseph (born in 2018). They divorced in 2021. Kramer moved on with Allan Russell, with whom she welcomed son Roman James in 2023. The pair tied the knot the following year.
