Elizabeth Olsen

Elizabeth Olsen, born in 1989, grew up in Los Angeles, Calif., into an acting family. Her older sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley showed her the way, and she had small roles before the age of 7.

Olsen attended college at New York University’s Tisch School of Arts. Her breakout role came in 2011 when she played Martha in the critically acclaimed film, Martha Marcy May Marlene.

She played a number of roles over the next few years in films such as Liberal Arts, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Godzilla. In January 2013, the young actress was nominated for the BAFTA Rising Star Award.

Olsen dated actor Boyd Holbrook from 2012 until 2014, when they got engaged. They broke off their engagement in January 2015.
