Devin Booker
Born to former NBA player Melvin Booker and cosmetologist Veronica Gutiérrez, Devin Booker always had basketball in his blood. Growing up, Devin spent time with his mother in Grand Rapids, Michigan, while his father pursued an international career. His own basketball career started when he moved to Mississippi sophomore year of high school, where his father coached.
Despite a minor injury during high school, Devin was offered scholarships to multiple colleges. In a much-anticipated ceremony, he announced that he’d chosen to attend the University of Kentucky following his 2014 graduation. After one year at Kentucky, he declared for the NBA draft in April 2015 and was picked up by the Phoenix Suns.
Devin first appeared in the NBA playoffs in May 2021, leading the Suns to their first finals round since 1993.
Off the court, the athlete was romantically involved with Kendall Jenner from April 2020 to June 2022. Following a brief reconciliation, the pair called it quits for good in November 2022.
