Angie Harmon

Angie Harmon is an American actress and former model best known for her roles as Abbie Carmichael on Law & Order and Jane Rizzoli on Rizzoli & Isles. Harmon spent her childhood in Highland Park, Texas, where she began modeling as a child. Shortly after graduating from Highland Park High School, she won Seventeen magazine’s national modeling contest, which helped her launch a successful career in modeling. She went on to work for major fashion brands like Calvin Klein and appeared in editorials for magazines including ELLE and Esquire.

After finding success in modeling, Harmon transitioned to acting in the mid-1990s. She landed one of her first major television roles on Baywatch Nights as Ryan McBride before breaking through as Assistant District Attorney Abbie Carmichael on Law & Order from 1998 to 2001. The role made her a familiar face on primetime television and helped establish her as a leading actress in the crime-drama genre.

Harmon went on to star in Women’s Murder Club and earned her greatest television success as Detective Jane Rizzoli on Rizzoli & Isles, which aired from 2010 to 2016. Her other notable credits include Agent Cody Banks (2003), Fun with Dick and Jane (2005), Seraphim Falls (2006) and Buried in Barstow (2022). Throughout her career, she has received multiple Screen Actors Guild Award nominations as part of the ensemble cast of Law & Order.

Harmon married former NFL player Jason Sehorn in 2001 after his widely publicized on-air proposal. They announced their separation in 2014 and finalized their divorce in 2016. The former couple share three daughters: Finley Faith Sehorn (born in 2003), Avery Grace Sehorn (born in 2005) and Emery Hope Sehorn (born in 2008). Harmon was later engaged to Greg Vaughan, though the pair split in 2021. She reignited an old flame with former high school boyfriend Tony Floyd in 2026.
