Carrie deserved her awards..simple as that! She had the best year of any of the nominees. The awards were for the year not a lifetime or anything. Martina has won FVOTY 4 times and will again I am sure but it wasn't her year. Carrie's new album Carnival Ride is even better than Some Hearts. I am sure she will win even more awards and rightfully so.

I have had the honor of meeting Miss Underwood on a few occasions. She is gracious, charming and not a snob. She is happy to stop and talk or sign an autograph for a fan. I think there are a few sore losers out there that think that they can do better. Prove it instead of saying such nasty things about such a real lady.

I'm not into country music at all, but I liked Carrie on American Idol. She doesn't seem like a diva but time will tell.
She went from a country cow milking little girl to a superstar. I like that but I do think Martina got shafted. She is an awesome talent.

This is not a criticism just a comment....last night was the first time I've actually heard her SPEAK...normally I just hear her sing. She didn't sound at all country or southern in her tone which I kinda expected her to sound...that was a little disappointing. Also I think Reba should have won....her duets cd is amazing and to have that many songs with so many different artists is just great.
